Still in Lufkin and Nacogdoches.

GoldStar

The word on the street is the Lufkin office is in the control of the

FBI, and I'm hearing they also shut down Port Arthur, Corpus and

Alice. Dispatch and the buses are still running but the offices are

on lock down.

Good luck to gold star. I dont think they have done any thing wrong

but with goverment you never know.

Good luck to gold star. I dont think they have done any thing wrong

but with goverment you never know.

I live in orange near port Arthur. The word here is that they have

seized all of the Medicaid and medicare. Basically anything to do with

government payments to them. They are still operational but the

business offices have been shut and all documents confiscated. Right

now it's a matter of time. They have already shut down their fixed wing

division and soon the helicopters are next. They owe a substantial

amount of money to the airport here and right now the airport is not

letting them take any flights until payment is made. Just thought

people would like to know what is going on down here.

I heard that Goldstar was in trouble due to past due federal taxes. Anyone

else hear this??

How long has this been going on? I know this could not have happened from one

day to the next. Are they in a downward spiral?

Well I don't know just to what extent there are investigations of GS

but I my experience with the has been nothing but fraud. this

includes the legals of when they didn't pay several employees OT

here a few years ago and then had to pay a good chunk of change.

Well I haven't seen a GS unit in several shifts so maybe they will

shut down like they did when the management of GS was the management

of AMR.

I worked for Goldstar back in 2000. My experience with them was very good

and the medics that I met there were very professional and dedicated to their

jobs as well as the management staff I dealt with. Investigations happen all of

the time to many services. Please folks, let's give this a rest. Negativity

is best kept to itself.
