Dear ,

I'm so very sorry to hear of your continued trauma with your pancreas and

the problems that it continues to give you... AND your GI... However, this is

your chance to find a new solution!!

Since he is your GI, then surely his primary vested interest is in

getting you BETTER. If indeed he believes, due to the most recent ERCP, that

CP is not your problem, then tell him " WONDERFUL! " After calming down, you

realize what GOOD news this actually really is!!

And, now that he has decided that pancreatitis is NOT the offending

source of chronic pain that you have believed for so long that it is, you are

together freed up to find the REAL culprit! WooHoo!!!

Now, Doctor... I can be on your doorstep as soon as you'd like for me to

be, so that we can start searching for the solution! Of course, until the

real culprit is found, the same treatment for pain should assumably be

followed, since the PAIN has not subsided... we've simply learned that the

CAUSE of pain is not CP... that's the only thing that has changed, not the

pain! We simply now realize that one is not the cause for the other!!

So what on earth could it be?? I mean, after all... HE'S the expert!!

Surely HE is the one who should have any NUMBER of other possible solutions

about what the problem could be... he's a well-respected, well-educated

professional physician after all!! His job is to find the source of your

pain and treat it! Until he is able to find the SOURCE of the pain, and

REMOVE the offending source of said pain, then it is the job of the PM doc to

ALLEVIATE the pain (as best as possible) while you and your GI continue in

your search!!

Don't FIGHT the s.o... Ahem... Kind Doctor! WORK with him!! Work

TOGETHER to find the cure!! He is your PARTNER in this journey, dear

!!! As is your PM Doc!

Best of luck on your new search! At least, according to your GI, the

source of your DEBILITATING PAIN is NOT CP! That's GOOD news, that is ONE

THING DOWN!! WooHoo!!!

Be sure to let us know how your search continues, , perhaps your

solution might be helpful to some others of us!!! And be sure to let your GI

know that HUNDREDS of other concerned sufferers of CP around the nation are

closely following your case on a daily basis to find out exactly HOW it comes

out... we all have a vested interest, as we share the horrible, daily pain...

and a solution for YOU might very well be a solution for many of US!!
