Guest guest
I eat the Diet bars as well for dessert instead of the ricotta desserts and jello. I did that all through phase 1. They are definitely yummy. I just started using the Atkin's bars because I found them at a $1 store here so I went with those. They are wonderful! > If you're in Phase 2 or 3, maybe you could buy some of the Kraft South > Beach Diet meal replacement bars.

And as you were told over on the Newbies group by many of us -- the meal replacement bars are NOT for phase 1, the Atkins products are NOT approved for ANY use on the SBD, and you shouldn't be eating them on a regular basis. You shouldn't eat popcorn during phase 1 either. I'll say the same thing to you here that I said over there -- you've never done phase 1 properly, regardless of what weight you've lost and you have no business sabotaging the weight loss efforts of others on these groups by spreading misinformation. Guest guest
They are basically unhealthy junk food. And are not phase one friendly. Might also be why the weightloss slowed down cuz you weren't really in phase one while eating these. Guest guest
Hi ... Try and stay off those bars like Carol has suggested to you... Guest guest
Dr. Agaston does say that it is alright to do that and I've been doing it since day 1. It works for me and I know my weight loss hasn't slowed down because of that. I just lost 2 more pounds so I know it's not that. I'm down 23 pounds in 29 days and thrilled about it! > They are basically unhealthy junk food. And are not phase one friendly. Guest guest
I am not spreading misinformation. I was simply replying to someone that also eats the bars. That's all it was. If you go back and read you'll see that is what I did. This is what works for me and I've lost 23 pounds because of it. I am not a doctor I don't recommend it. But that is what I do. I will only mention it when people ask about it. > > I eat the Diet bars as well for dessert instead of the > > ricotta desserts and jello. Guest guest
Well luckily with phase 2 there are better desserts so I won't have to have the bars. The desserts on this diet are perfect for my sweet tooth. Like the chocolate dipped strawberries which was so wonderful. I'll just stick with my 20 nuts a day :-) > > They are basically unhealthy junk food. And are not > > phase one friendly. When has he said that the Atkins bars are ok? It's great that you've lost weight however you've done it without following the guidelines of the diet. Saying that you did such and such without negative effect is one thing, saying that Agatston says it is ok is an entirely different matter. This is why so many just added your messages to their killfilter or deleted them altogether. It's also why the group responded so negatively to you before (and after) you were removed from it. Prime example is your message on the bars here -- you attribute statements to Agatston that he did not make. He's never said you could have popcorn during P1, he's never said you could have meal replacement bars during phase 1, he's never said you could use Atkins bars, and he's never said any of these things could be done on a daily basis. In fact, he's publically stated exactly the opposite and done so time and time again. You've made similar such statements and the simple fact of the matter is that you are spreading inaccurate information. Several of us tried to help you on the Newbies group -- you weren't interested. Folks have already tried helping you here and you've already started arguing with them that they're wrong. Are you seeing a pattern here? Note the name of the group -- SBD " Getting It Right " . The members of this group want to do the SBD the right way. That means following the guidelines of the diet as they've been developed -- not using their own version as they see fit. This isn't the " SBD a la Carte " group.
