Re: Fall Outing..

Rayna,

The date is October 20th and it's a Saturday.

Folks, I just wanted to clarify the reason I mentioned my party. I

heard you guys throwing around ideas about what to do to get together. In

one

way, I agree with in that I thought it would just great sit in a room

or

something and just gab. I mentioned the party because I think it will be a

great time (at least I hope) and that we are raising money for a good cause.

If folks want to go to meet others from he list, than that' s all the

better.

I really don't consider this a 'gathering' or whatever you want to call it.

There will be other folks there, hopefully, most of them from where I work.

I

want anyone who wants to come, to show up and enjoy, that's all. Trust me, I

know some folks would be intimidate Seeing me do the jitterbug isn't pretty.

When I dance, I just look so 'white.' LOL. You won't hurt my feelings if you

want to plan something else, but I think you just give it a shot. Just my

$.02. I just wanted to explain my motives behind all this.

Thanks

Don

I think Sundays seem to be the best day for people on the list to go.

Cool :) How about...September 16th? That's a Sunday...

Re: Fall Outing..

Hi Joni,

I looked on a Salem web site and I see 2 parks that could match what

you are talking about. One is Forest River Park West Avenue, Salem, MA

(Family park with beaches, picnic areas, salt water swimming pool.) The

other is Winter Island Marine Park 50 Winter Island Road, Salem, MA

(Historic Fort Pickering and Lighthouse, beach, boat launch, pier,

picnic area and camp sites May through October.) Here is the web site I

got them off of:

http://www.salemweb.com/guide/parks.htm

We don't HAVE to wait till October. I would say we could probably give

ourselves a week or two and then have it...Or October is dandy! :) I am

so flexible. Ya'll could just let me know what you think and I could

set it up.
