I'm game for whale watching myself! I could even do mouth to whale

resuscitation if necessary! :)

I personally think a neutral sorta location (mid way for most) would

probably work best ya think guys?

I also know there are several types of tours such as dinner cruises out of

Boston, stuff like that...haven't a clue on pricing, but Kim seems to be

doing a WONDERFUL job looking! :)

Let me know!

I also LOVE the idea of Deep Sea Fishing, or even on a bridge somewhere!

One thing though about any water related...I know a few people who get sick

just thinking about water???

Just let me know!

Fall Outing..

So I looked up the prices to some activies we could do. I will also

need to know what day you all would like to do this and around what

time?

New England Aquarium: $28.35

http://www.neaq.org/visit/whalewatch.html

Cape Ann Whale Watch: $28.00

http://www.caww.com/general.htm

Salem Whale Watch: $29.00

http://www.salemwhalewatch.com/rates.html

Cape Cod Whale Watch: $27.00 (offers $1.00 off coupons)

http://www.whalewatchingplymouth.com/prices.htm

And here is a TON more!

http://www.physics.helsinki.fi/whale/usa/massachusetts/massach.html

Boston Duck Tours: $18.00

http://www.bostonducktours.com/pages/group1.html

I would love some more suggestions...I think this could be a very good

time! I would love to get to meet you all and just have a fun, relaxing

day with my internet " family " . I would even be willing to do something

here at my house if all else fails....

Hello Everybody,

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm back from my little

sabbatical. Just couldn't stay away from you guys, you know? Anyway, I have been

reading about your ideas for a fall gathering. If you want it, I have a

suggestion. I am putting a party together to raise funds for Toys For Tots. It's

going to be on October 20th and it's will be held at the Moose Hall in North

Reading, Mass. It sounds out of the way, but it's easy to get to. There will be

raffles (raffle donations will be cheerfully accepted by the way LOL)good music

(I hope) provided by me. As far as food goes, if people want to bring something,

fine. There won't be any special time set aside for dinner. Drinks are very

cheap as well. Just come and have a good time. Sorry to go on so long, but I

sincerly hope someone considers it along with any other ideas. Good to be back.

Don

Jeff, good job on the list by the way.

It's really a wonderful group. I am proud to say that we at the IRS do a

spectacular job. We break donation and toys records every year according to the

Marines. Who says goverment workers are bums huh? That must have been a kick for

your husband. It just makes me crazy when I think of kids that don't have

anything around the holdays. Especially in this money grubbing world we live in.

It's just not right. So, I'm looking forward to you being there. Thanks.

Don,

I like your idea. My husband was in the Marine Corp. and one

year I was fortunate enough to be able to help him distribute the

toys. What a experience!!!! It is also great to see the community

pull together and help these kids have something under the tree

from Santa.

I remember one family did not even have a christmas tree. Well

wouldn't you know one of the buisnesses donated some fake

tree's. My husband said when they brought it to one family the

Mom and Dad just cryed. They were so grateful to Toys for Tots.

So as you can see I think this is a awesome idea!!!

Kathy V.

P.S. Don I tryed to look at you picture but I can not for some

reason. I forgot the actual message it gives me . I will look and

post what it says so someone can tell me what I am doing

wrong!!!

Sounds perfect to me. I know there are a few others on the list from my part

of the woods and I know my way to N. Reading (im sure dawn knows where that

naughty little shop is on 28) so if anybody needs a ride from this area just

let me know. I am on the Pepperell/townsend line. I would much rather spend

money on toys for tots than admission somewhere. I would love for some of

the " oldtimers " to go too. Carla, Russ, , Pam etc Where are you

guys. This could start a tradition.
