Guest guest
Ask any politician. Any communication, once published, lives forever and travels freely. And I didn't start by saying it was unprofesional (it is, but that came later). I said I was offended. Of course I see I'm the minority here. I try not to say anything in writing, from the security and anonymity of my computer, that I wouldn't say to someone's face. And I dare say a face to face conversation with the Wind Foundataion folks would not have elicited that language. =Steve= Steve , LP AlertCPR Emergency Training 2300 Highland Village Rd, Suite 340 Highland Village, TX 75077 >--- Original Message --- > >To: < > >Date: 1/20/05 12:59:45 PM > > " Steve , LP " <paramedic1@s...> wrote: >> >> I fail to see that as insightful, professional, or even rational! > >Have we heard any more silly, idol, unprofessional and irrational lawsuit >threats from WIND since said his piece? Guest guest
From: Steve , LP >>And I dare say a face to face >>conversation with the Wind Foundataion folks would not have elicited >>that language. Knowing the parties involved here, it is safe to say that none of them would have any issue whatsoever, in voicing those very same opinions face to face either. The important thing to remember is that although Rob, Mike and may all be a little rough around the edges sometimes, they ask very pointed and important questions. There are serious concerns I would raise from the beginning, namely, how someone who professes to lead an organization that will raise grant funds, has such difficulty mastering grammer. That fact alone leaves me asking more questions than I really care to know the answers to. Do we all misspell occasionally? Sure we do, but I haven't seen one post yet from Wind Foundation that utilized a spell check. How do you expect me to take them seriously? I'll leave this alone for now. Guest guest
In Mike (the new Ron H) 's message, he first insinuated fraud then asked for info. Even a mild mannered person such as myself might have been a mite upset over that kind of approach. Everybody in this debate has made errors and stepped on toes. said it right - much ado about nothing. This whole thread is a bunch of crap and really should end. Guest guest
Spoken like someone who doesn't know Hatfield in the least. Yes, it was used in a comedy routine, but there's a much better story for how it became applied to Mike H. Look over your head, the point should be somewhere up there now... Guest guest
Ok I have a question. What does the Wind Foundation get out of all this? -- Re: Wind Foundation I've watched all the goings on about Wind Foundation, the arguments, the tempers flaring, etc. My take on it is that while they might be a legitate organization, they would make a lot better impression on the EMS world if their spokesman practiced proper spelling and decent grammar. I'm not impressed with someone who is not capable of adequately communicating in the language in which he or she has chosen. Guest guest
What is your D & B number? Re: Wind Foundation By god, then send me some too, 'cause at this point, I don't give a fat rat's behind what this thing is, you are completely out of your frapping tree! IF this is in any way legitimate, then they need to do a couple of things before I will cease telling everybody I run across in EMS how totally shady this appears. 1. Get a website, and provide information that can be independantly verified. This should have been done FIRST. 2. Get somebody else as a spokesperson, because you are verging on complete psychosis threatening a lawsuit on the first person to ask legitimate questions. Where's that going to get you? That should REALLY encourage participation..uhh huuh. You can send my lawsuit papers to: Brown 9831 Farrell Dr. Houston, Texas 77070 or just have drop 'em off here. I will be in the country another week or so looks like. magnetass sends Re: Wind Foundation >> >> >> What's your web site? >> >> Who's your board of directors? >> >> How are you funded? >> >> Mike >> >> On Mon, 17 Jan 2005 05:14:29 -0000, windfoundation >> wrote: >> > >> > >> > need help with getting data about Volunteer EMS Service that are in >> > need of help Ie needing a new ambulance. we would like to help but >> > need justifcation ina report. what we need is what the department is >> > the amount of thier budget amout they bill and the amount they >> > collect. and if they are over budget. espeicaly those that are in an >> > emergency need. >> > >> > About WIND FOUNDATION >> > >> > The WIND FOUNDATION was formed in March of 2004 to meet the needs >> > of small volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) groups providing >> > emergency medical care to citizens in their communities, including >> > the indigent. >> > >> > The Wind Foundation will seek to provide support for these groups >> > from businesses, citizens and government agencies.
