Kim:

had 3rd dilitation today.....was not bad as the first nightmare.....will

have to have another in about 2 weeks....then we will see..went from the size

of a cocktail straw opeing to 1/2 size of dime to almsot dime size this

time...so hopefull won't need t many more...but I am eating cheese and

crackers as I type...tastes so good...lol

so gald it seems to be working.. have been thinking of you alot.. i go

tomorrow (wed) for my one month visit... anxious to get weighed.. have been

feeling ok, except for an occasional pain in my left side of the incision...

and my left hand has that picky pins and needles feeling alot... will let

you know how i make out..

I hardley seems like 3 months ago that you had your surgery! I remember

sitting at my desk at work hoping you would come through all right. I guess

Dr Thayer was right after the staples come out a year will fly by real fast.

It's about 39 hours until I join the rest of you on the other side and I'm

scared. I have been having bouts of anxiety all day but I know that this is

the right thing to do. You all have been such an inspiration to me.

Thursday will be 4 weeks since I had my surgery. I was so scared... I

actually cried while I was being prepped.. second guessing myself over and

over...the nurses told me it was an emotional experience and lots of people

go through it...

at 4 weeks ou, i can honestly say i'd do this again... 1 week out, i'm not so

sure.. but each day gets easier and just concentrate on the future...this is

your life and think how much better and fulfilling it will be once you are

healthier..

I didn't realize your big day is Thursday. I can feel what you are going

through since my surgery was just 3 weeks ago today. It's a big step.

It's a step I am glad I took. Try and think about all the great weight

loss that people have had. You will be soon sharing that. I won't say

don't be anxious or scared because I was too and probably most others

were. I joined this group right after I got home from the hospital. It's

great that you joined before your surgery. I wish I had joined sooner so

I could have learned lots before the surgery. Good luck !! I'll be

thinking of you. Let us know once you are able to write how you're doing

and if you have any questions.
