crap. you don't want him in school, you stop sending him. he doesn't legally

have to be in school til he's elementary age anyway.

Maybe you need to tell her she should get a new Dr. before he kills someone

she loves with this misinformation!

That's what I told her. She asked if I was going to send him until

all the paperwork was done. Ummm. NO whats the point of sending him

now if I don't trust her anyway. I also told her that even once he

was elementary age I could pull him out and homeschool. She shut up

after that.

Hey, at least she shut up!!

You know, I just had another thought. Make sure you push the issue of how

deadly allergies can be with the principal and director before she kills

someone elses child!

Oh. My. God.

Are there really, seriously people out there who are THAT STUPID???

Ask her why I've been carrying an epi-pen around for the last 2 1/2 years

because might TOUCH something with milk in it. Ask her why a

pediatrician AND a pediatric allergist would reccomend that. Ask her why it

says " life-threatening dairy allergy " on his chart.

Has she never heard of peanut allergies? Those are the classic example...

Please, please find some information on food allergies and take that to the

school. OH MY GOD.

BTW an epi-pen is an injectable single dose of epinephrin, which helps stop

allergic reactions for a short time until an ambulance can arrive. It's the

same thing people who are deathly allergic to bees carry, or people with

severe asthma. got his after he touched cheese and then touched his

face. His face swelled up so badly his eyes and nose were pinched closed.

He did have some swelling in his airway but not enough to need an epi-pen.

That time. Our ped's was open & we rushed him over there and they gave him

a LARGE dose of Benedryl and washed his face and hands in a topical

antihistimine.

No shit.

Also, the more exposure to an allergen, the stronger the reaction can get.

And there is no way of knowing if that next reaction will be the one that

blocks his airway or not.

> which means you don't give it to him. Some people just don't get it

> and that's why he's not going back!

Amen!

I absolutely cannot believe the sheer stupidity we have to deal with.

OH MY GOD!!!!! She said that. I cannot express what I'm feeling right now.

Uh....

More meetings?

I would get an advocate to go with you and/or I would have a lawyer standing by.

The threat of legal action due to neglegence and violation of your rights for

not giving you the paperwork to remove him might motivate them some.
