Guest guest
Pam, I love that " sometimes you are going in the wrong direction, but it is the right direction for a reason " (or close to that!) Anyhow, I think we'll all end up in the right place, it's just funny how we get there - not always what you expect. I hope you're relaxing and will get some more great news this week! Guest guest
Hi All, I am back from DIUI #2 and guess what?? It was NOT painful. It slid right in without using anything. YIPPEE!!! SO needless to say the procedure was much better. Plus my RE handed me 4 packs of prenatal vitamins right as we were walking out the door saying 'I'm sure you'll be needing these " . I hope so. I am only on for this bit, gotta go lay down. Check the board later. Dana

Guest guest
Dana, That is so wonderful! Everything seems to be going your way, so this MUST be it!!! what a sweetie your RE is! I have been on prenatal vitamins for well over a year. I was told to start taking them when we started ttc. The only time I was off of them was when I had Metho treatment. Just curious why your RE doesn't have you on any right now? Again, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! So, you'll know by March 1st, right?????????? Lots of prayers and baby dust!!!!!!!!!!!!! elle > Hi All, > > I am back from DIUI #2 and guess what?? It was NOT painful. It slid right in > without using anything. YIPPEE!!! Guest guest
Thanks , I was so nervous about the pain that I almost threw up (how appropriate would that be), I mean I was actually sweating so when it slipped right in, I was very happy (to say the least). It was funny because before he left the room he said 'Am I your friend again since I know I was your enemy yesterday? " and I said 'Sure " , and then he said before I left, " Let's both pray I'll be your best friend the next time I see you " . I just thought that was really sweet. Guest guest
Nidia, First of all, I am truly sorry to hear the news of your father in law. You are in my thoughts. Well, How can this doctor tell you that having a 1 day period means nothing? It definitely means that you do have living endometrium in there somewhere. And you aren't even taken hormones to help your lining grow!! I know that now is not the time to be thinking about another surgery, especially with the devastating news of your father in law but have a think about it, and perhaps you should see an A list doctor for a second opinion. You are from Texas and I believe it should not be so difficult for you to see one. Whatever you decide to do, please let us know. Guest guest
Suzanne, I'm simultaneously sorry to hear about all you've gone through (I realize I probably don't know the whole of it) and happy for your success. This has got to be the point where you turn the corner. It's wacky - for lack of a better term - to just wish that we could get back to the place we were at before even beginning to try to conceive. I hope you do get a fresh start soon. Although a good bit of my health problems are not AS related, the onset of nearly everything I'm trying to deal with began post-first-pregnancy. However we manage to come by our children, we'll know how fortunate we are! Today I told a neighbor up the road a little bit about my health history and fertility issues of the past few years. She told me that she and her sister both wanted kids - yet she had triplets (now teenagers) and her sister was not able to bare children. Strange how things work out. The happy part - her sister adopted and couldn't be happier!! Take care, Suzanne (and your dh too) J.
