LOL.....Thanks for the birthday song, Lelia! It sounded beautiful, I bet.

My Aunt is having a big dinner for me on Sunday and I've requested her Pecan

Icecream Dessert for my b-day cake. I've posted the recipe in here

before....it's to die for!!

I'm so sorry you're not getting any pain relief. I'll bet it's from the

reduction in prednisone! I

hope you'll begin to feel better soon.

When is it that you go back to Montreal? I can understand you're reluctance to

be in traffic---it

surely seems bad in a city when one is used to little towns and I suspect your

roads are similar to

the roads in the little towns in Maine. Is it quite woody there too?

Thanks, Lelia. Yes, it's much the same as driving in Maine and we're surrounded

by the woods. Black

flies are HORRIBLE in the summer from us being so close to the woods. BLECK!!

Thanks Mel, my kid sister is actually at work with mom

today. And if she was around I would not be spending

all that much time with her....the kid is more

addicted to the computer than I am. Over X-mas I

barely got to chat with her because she was on

Warwick's computer IM-ing everyone back home the whole

time. I'm going out this afternoon to pick up

applications at all the local clothing store for her.

Hopefully she can get a job quickly. The only reason

I'm so fixed on getting the house tidy is that I've

been sneezing & breaking out in hives since I got back

yesterday. The place is full up with dust.
