Guest guest
Thanks Donaker...I agree...kind of sad....every where your turn, it is nothing but sex. Debbie Reynolds made the statement long ago that " sex is a private matter " ! She was so right! Too bad that we have lost our way. Guest guest
Oh for " heaven's sake " can we all grow up and quit whining about people talking about sex!! We are surface hippies which means we are all pretty young yet and sex, yes I said SEX is a HUGE part of our HEALTHY lives!! If we can't talk about it here and get input from people going through the exact same thing as we are, well then where? GET OVER IT! Hips have a lot to do with sex and if you don't think so then you're not doing it right! It's very appropriate to talk about it in this forum. Personally, I'm going to PRAY for better ROM! Guest guest
Sorry, Ethel, but my comment was actually meant to be tongue in cheek And now, back to hips. I was recently hospitalized with a bleeding ulcer and was put on antibiotics. Maybe it was just my imagination...running away with me...but my hip felt better than ever while I was on them. I'll have to track how it feels now that I've stopped taking them. It was probably just that I was inactive for 5 days, but even after I got home and resumed the bike, my hip felt great, and by that I mean it didn't hurt when rain was in the forecast or when I would get up after sitting for long periods of time. It made me wonder... > > > Ethel, I'm having second thoughts...I think we need another prayer > > here. > > > >

Guest guest
Ethel-- Actually, if you'd like to follow the teachings of Christ, I remember the story of when he was in Jerusalem and saw the " pious " praying on the street corner. He taught us to find a closet, and pray there. Public prayer is not a teaching of Christ but one of men. As far as the sex issue goes, all kidding aside, it is part of a healthy relationship. I hope Dr Mont finally says its ok for me. Captain Amaze_O -- In surfacehippy , " donnakei " <donnakei@y...> wrote: > > Ethel, I'm having second thoughts...I think we need another prayer > here. Guest guest
Thanks, Isobel! This was exactly why I knew I couldn' put off having my hip fixed. It was probably the single most important reason for me beginning my search for help.... I'm sorry if that offends anyone; but I'll bet I'm not alone in this! Guest guest
Hi Deb, It is amazing what a lack of pain can do for the body and soul. Often we have joked about it and blamed the " metal ions " for making us a bit randy. Yes - life does get better after you're surfed (or replaced). If anything, this experience has taught me that life is short ... enjoy life ... and thanks for the chuckles :-) Best wishes, Wolf gimpymommi wrote:Thanks, Isobel!
