Carol,

Some of the more commonly used plants for soaping are:

Lavender, (you would need severeal plants to get enough lavender, maybe 6

min. unless they produce very well where you live), Calendula, Chamomile,

mints (these can be invasive " garden bullies), Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, That

would be a good starting, place. If you are into making balms and salves,

yarrow and self heal are also good herbs. Some use fennell, and marshmellow

root is wonderful in soap and creams for problem skin. Marshmellow cannot

be harvested until the 2nd year.

I think that we can all start our own pharmacy. I am glad that you were able

to get disability. So many don't or it takes awhile. At least you are

looking on the bright side by being able to spend so much time with your

children.

I think that fibromyalgia runs in a family My daughter has it but she is

still able to keep going. She has twin daughters (age 14) and I think one of

them has it still.
