Doctors know how to prescribe antibiotics. Aaaand that's pretty much it. :pGod knows they've given me 100+ antibiotic cures! WAY too many in my 31 years...My Specialist, on the other hand, is the one giving me supplement advice.I asked her about the high level of Magnesium in my serum - She said that theblood does not match the cells, and that I probably need more into my cells.I remember a hair analysis from June 2008 - I had way more calcium than magnesium in my tissue.

Iwould ask your doctor. Maybe he is going by oyur labs but oyu said they

were high? As I said there seems to be two camps on this subject, I

suggest reading the studies and make oyur own decision. Doctors CAN be

wrong! From my own experience they are wrongf more than they are right. LOL

Why does my hands shake (not violently, but a bit) even after taken my 10 mg of morning HC now at 11 am? I also feel more bloated now. Is is better with more than less sea salt?

I feel so weak and rotten today. Ok, so I've got a stuck nose, but I always have that. This feeling of being bloated is horrible. It started after taking HC for the first time in June this year. And it has become worse ever since I started increasing doses. Coincidence, or a result of taking HC? Or is it simply just aldosterone problems? I don't like this feeling of not knowing for example how much sea salt to take daily. I take about 1 teaspoon daily.

OK start by regulating th emount of salt you take. NOT about a teaspoon.

either it si a teaspoon ro 1.5 or 2. Thsi si ABOVE what you use on food

and you should be salting food liberally to taste,. One thing I have

learned about adrnelas, to help them your life MUST be regimented. Same

times ot bed same times to take meds and same things every day. Boring I

knwo, but necessary to get your self on the right track. Are you

graphing your temps? can you post several days AVERAGES? Remember they

must be done close to the same times every day to be accurate. Bp &

Pulse? These are things I need ot knwo to help you.

I always salt my food with sea salt. I have been taking about 1 teaspoon in my water daily.I need to know if it's safer to take More than Less salt? I hate worrying about everything.I have no problems taking more sea salt. It tastes bad, but hey, it's well worth it if it works.Sometimes I grind sea salt directly into my mouth. I have become more and more used tothe salty taste lately. At first I couldn't stand it. Now I'm like "oh what the heck!" - And justdrink it...I try to run a regime with what I eat. But it's impossible to be 100% in the food/drinksdept. Like today, after the movie, we went to get a pizza. I ordered a gluten free one,and had 4 large slices. I KNEW I shouldn't even have ONE, but I also knew that 4 sliceswouldn't kill me. So I ate some slices. For the first time in months. Didn't really enjoy

it,cause gluten-free pizza is less tasty than regular pizza. I couldn've gone for a salad, butI eat salads every day. So I figured I'd do the pizza just this one time. . . A person can goINSANE eating lowcarb glutenfree 100% of the time! And I am in the insanity-territoryalready! Not taking my conditions so well. I just can't live like a normal person, and I hateit so much! But I KNOW I must get through this in a good way, to get my health back. That's why I _DON'T_ eat pizza every single day. Gluten-free or not.My bedtimes have been a bit unstable, as well as when I'm getting up...What if I do midnight to 9 am every day? Is that ok? What do AF-people do when it'sXmas eve or New Years Eve? Just go to bed at 10 pm and miss the whole celebration? As for the temps. There are so many factors that can affect them. You must "sit still"for 20 minutes with no food or drinks before taking the temp. It makes it

IMPOSSIBLEto live anything near a normal life while trying to take the temps. Like today, I went tothe movies (Avatar - It was amazing!!!) and I did manage to take my HC and T3 whilewatching the movie. BUT I could not do my temp there. Well I guess I could, but, then I must have watched the time and waited those 20 minutes after food/drinks.It's so much stress to try to heal AF. And healing AF shoukd NOT include stress! While watching the movie (Ok, the movie theatre had a crazy air conditioning systemthat made it freeeezing in there, it must have been in the 50s!!!) I was freezing my buttoff, even with double pants, a thick jacket and a woolen sweater - I was dressed fora hardcore winterstorm! I did, however, freeze badly for 3 hours. I noticed that my chestmuscles ALL began to spasm vigorously - And so they did, for 3 hours. I thought thingssuch as "do I have too much or too little salt in me? too little

magnesium? what is this?am I dying now? gawd I hate my life!" but when I got home into my warm apartment, the chest was fine again. Hmmm. Did this happen because I was freezing, and becauseI am hypothyroid? If I am home every single day, ALL of the time, I can check my temp three times daily,at the same times. But if I do something outside (rarely ever happens) I can't possiblyfollow the temperature-regime. It's just impossibly to pause the world around me to tothe temps at three times every day no matter what I do.Once again, as for my daily averages, they all seem to lie at 37.0 C, plus minus 0.1 C.Which is within the limit. Again, the temps have been normal before HC, while on HC,no matter the HC dose.Right now I get this reading: Temp 36.8 C (98.2 F) and pulse 72 bpm.Did the reading again 10 minutes later: And the temp had gone up to 37.0 C (98.6 F)- I think I left the thermometer in

twice as long (2 minutes or more) and got a higherresult. So, how on earth can I do my temp if it changes depending on how long I measure it!? If I measure for 1 minute at noon, 2 minutes at 4 pm and 3 minutes at 8 pm, I very wellcan get totally different and skewed results. Not only if I DON'T wait 20 minutes aftereating/drinking before I measure, but also if I measure too short! :pI still use my electronic thermometer. For approx. 1 minute every time. I should leave it forthe same amount of time every time, OR leave it til it STOPS raising? What do you think? Thanks, .... stuck in the "no-life" zone, willing to do ANYTHING to heal!(That's why I value advice from experienced, intelligent, GOOD people like you Val, Nick, and others!)

I forgot to ask: What is a teaspoon? They come in different sizes, I have two small teaspoons, but they are not the same size. And, do we Top the spoon or level it flat out? What's a "perfect" teaspoon of sea salt? And do I need to check my aldosterone with my electrolytes once in a while? Can I put 2 teaspoons of sea salt into a 1.5 liter (50 oz) bottle of water and drink that throughout the day? Is that the perfect sea salt-regime? And let's say I don't have AF, and my aldosterone is normal - Can I still drink these 2 teaspoons of sea salt daily without getting problems?I wonder if my fluid retention is from taking too much HC, from having low aldosterone or from taking too much/too little sea salt...Anyway, head feels rotten now. Just horrible. I never take my T3 at the same times daily. How important is it to take HC and T3 EXACTLY

the same times every day?Like if I don't fall asleep at midnight as I should, lie awake til 3, do I _have_ to get up at 9 to take my first HC dose then, and go back to bed or what? How do I do this? It's a nightmare preparing food every evening and put it next to the bed in that case, to eat with the first HC dose. I can't take HC with no food!

I was never able to get consistent results with an electronic thermometer.

Finally went to a basal column thermometer. I've even caught the expensive

in-the-ear thermometer my doctor uses, registering unreasonably low and

lower than my column thermometer.

Do you know for a fact you can trust yours? E.g. have you calibrated it

against a good column thermometer?

The local hospital lab uses this range for Sodium: 137-145 mmol/l. What should I aim for here you think? I pretty much lie around 140-142. Midrange. What do you think about this?It needs to be adjusted by your labs. I looke for 144-146 for good

Let the bumping begin! It is funny though, how my sodium has been at the very top of the range, and I haven't really been taking more sea salt than normally.Let's also not forget that ranges are just ranges. They are just an average. And my perfectsodium could very well be at 155 for all I know!I'll start doing 1 1/2 or 2 teaspoons a day then.

I generally liwk sodium 142-144 so yours is fine but would not hurt to

bump up a little.

Everyone's body has a place for electrloytes where it feel sbest. Your

kidneys an dadrenals together wiht bladder adjust thi scponstantly. If

adrenals are weak aldosterone levels cn fall and thus your dsodium drops

as aldosterone allows oyur body to hold mroe sodium.

I have a question about my HC/T3/Iron dosing! Can I do it like this? (I would like to get up at 9, but that's So Early that I fear I will be toosleepy in the evening to do ANYTHING in the evening after 7-8 pm if I get up at this time!)10:30 am: 10 mg HC11:00 am: 5 mcg T32:30 pm: 7.5 mg HC3:00 pm: 5 mcg T34:00 pm: 50 mg Amino Ferrochel Iron6:30 pm: 7.5 mg HC9:00 pm: 2.5 mg HC9:30 pm: 5 mcg T310:30 pm: 50 mg Amino Ferrochel IronThe reason for why there is more than 4 hours in between my second and third (last) doseof T3, is because I take iron 1 hour after the second dose and have to wait 4 hours fromwhen I take the iron. And, I don't want to take the T3 before I take my last dose of HC.HC is backing my body up so I can tolerate T3 better. Please make improvements to my schedule if necessary. Thanks!
