Meg,

I can't tell you how you're feeling or choices to make, only you know what

the problems are, but I do strongly believe if a marriage isn't working the

way you had hoped, to seek counseling. I know for me (not marriage

related), but for personal issues in my " previous life " , that until I sought

out counseling, I hadn't a freaking clue what was bothering me. Once I

established a good relationship with my counselor, she finally figured out

what my issues were. I now concentrate on making these things better, shed

off the " bad stuff " , and concentrate on ME! :)

Good luck sweetie.

Dawn

hi

Hi all,

I am having surgery on Monday, July 9th! I'm happy,

but arguing with my husband again...and really

contemplating a separation from him...I know I have to

get thru the surgery and feel better first, but I have

been unhappy in our relationship for a while...the

hardest part is my boys aged 10 and 11 realy love and

need their dad...I'd appreciate prayers anyone can offer...meg

DEAR MEG

GOOD LUCK WITH THE SURGERY. TAKE FIRST THINGS FIRST. FIRST THE SURGERY.

GET HEALED AND THEN THE MARRIAGE. MAYBE YOU COULD GO TO A MARRIAGE

COUNCILER. WHEN YOU LOOSE WEIGHT YOUR MARRIAGE WILL CHANGE AND THEN YOU WILL

KNOW WHAT TO DO TAKE IT FROM EXPERIENCE. I AM 60 YEARS OLD. I GOT DIVORCED

WHEN MY GIRLS WERE 5,6, AND 8 YEARS OLD. I WAS 29 YEARS OLD. TWO YEARS

LATER I GOT RE-MARRIED AND HE HAD 3 BOYS AND I AM NOW MARRIED 30 YEARS TO MY

SECOND. WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY CHILDREN TOGETHER. WE THOUGHT 6 CHILDREN WAS

ENOUGH. BEST OF LUCK AND YOU WILL BE FINE. RAYNA

Hi Meg,

Ok then! 2 tbsp...I'm not worried! :) I often forget that when people

mention " real food " (aka: frozen yogurt, ice cream, etc.), that when post

op, you can't eat too much anyways! I'm thinking " Jim Dandy " completely! :)

Sorry for the confusion!

Hey...I'm not sure, but I believe Myoplex (at GNC) is whey based??? I had it

a few times, loved it, just costly. Anyone have bids on this???

Dear Ruthann, I am 53 and had LAP surgery last August. I was able to

lose 40 pounds in the 3 months before surgery, I chose to be " almost "

vegetarian(fish/chick) mainly tofu and veggies and I started eating the way

I would after surgery before. I started walking every day alittle bit, and

a little bit more. It sounds like he is very competent and the

nutrionist/therapist compnent is very important. Don't hesitate to e-mail

privately for support. The Lap has a great recovery time also! I am

excited for you! Priscilla

Ruthann,

I'm glad you're happy with the outcome sweetie!

How do you cook flaxseed?

Dawn

Hi

Hi

Saw the doctor yesterday, he did stress that this surgery is serious and

also reminded me I am in a higher risk group because of my age, 54 just

turned 54, he wants me to lose 20 pounds if I can as then he can do it Lap

which he says it is easier on your heart, he is also a heart surgeon, he is

a great Doctor, he is recommended by all the Doctors around here even for

people who live closer to another Doctor.

He told me to swim and walk as Much as I can to get some exercise before.

He even told me this interesting fact, he is a vegatatarian , and I was for

many years and want to go back to being one, which he recommends if you can

after the operation.

He told me flax seeds were really good for arthritis, ground and added to

your food.

And using Flax seed oil to cook helps also.

I use Flax seeds in my eye pillows so I am going to try it.

So Now it is just waiting for the surgery.

He is very through he even makes you have a Mental health counselor you see

after the surgery to deal with any depression or food issues.

Adventures Of the Heart

are the Best Kind.

RUTHANN
