Congratulations!!! Seek out LLL. They can help you continue to nurse through pregnancy and tandem nurse afterwards. They have lots of good advise and suggestions and can tell you what to expect like decrease in milk for a while etc.

Guess What?

You may remember that I wrote a few weeks ago really worried aboutmy son nursing all the time at night. And my feeling that I needed to stop especially since my DH and I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 months?Well...I am pregnant! And I am still nursing!Yes, even during the night, it seems like more now than ever.Anyway, I just had to tell you guys:)Now, I get to deal with nursing and sore nipples.Which I was just experiencing last night for the first time. But no morning sickness yet. Last time, I was sicker than a dog until 6 months into it.I am keeping my fingers crossed!!Give the Gift of Life Breastfeed!http://www.lactivist.com

Congratulations! If you have any questions about nursing while pregnant or tandem nursing feel free to ask :-) I actually didn't get any sore nipples until my 2nd trimester hit, then it was bad until the 3rd trimester. The last few months weren't so bad, maybe because I'd gotten used to it?

I was very sick with my daughter and quite sick with my son but not quite as bad as my daughter. I am told though that usually the girls you are sicker with because of the hormones. I don't think it means anything and it is the luck of the draw. LOL I hope you remain "sick free" It is no fun when you feel ill.

Thanks everyone, You are all so great!

I just told my mom and she said, " well now you have to stop nursing,

they stop milking the cows when they get pregnant. "

Her husband who is a nurse said, " do you think she is a cow? "

LOL!!

I explained her that it isn't necessary to stop and so did her

husband, FEW!

Anyway, thanks again!
