Guest guest
Hi Sue Welcome to the group, you're right they are a friendly bunch, full of good advice and genuinely very caring. I too am called Sue, 53 and lived in Germany for 6 yrs, quite some time ago now. No matter where you go in the world you will always get those that are unkind to chubbies. Just learn to ignore them, they are sad, insecure people with prejudices. I also don't get much exercise, but if you can move a little more each day, it really helps the weight come off easier. Don't forget drink lots of water. Hugs Sue H __________________________________________________ Yahoo! Guest guest
Welcome Janell- I have struggled with weight all my life too. My 2 sisters aren't skinny but they've never been as big as I am. I signed up for water aerobics as well. I have to struggle every day with overeating but I am really feeling very unhealthy at this wt. My name is Jinx,49 and the mother of an 8 yr. old. I am usually a full time special ed. teacher but will not be teaching again until fall. I think you'll find this group very helpful Jx. New member Hi- I am a new member and hoping to find support and encouragement here. I have struggled with weight all my life. I have 3 skinny sisters and hate being the " fat one " !! My self esteem is basically zero!! I did sign up for a water aerobic class that starts the first week of May. I just am looking for someone who may understand. Nothing against my sisters but they just really have no idea of the struggle. thanks janell

Guest guest
Hi Janell, Welcome to WLB! O I know your pain, I have 4 sisters and 1 bro and all of them are skinny except me and my 1 other sis. But my 1 sis is " Perfect " and when she isn't perfect she gets surgery and turns perfect again. Down to the breast implants, tummy tuck, and lipo suction. And personal trainers. Shes to skinny if you ask me and acts like she cant believe I eat what I do. Fun. #2 > Hi- > > I am a new member and hoping to find support and encouragement here. > I have struggled with weight all my life. Guest guest
Hi Tammy- I know how you feel... I look at my wedding pictures and feel sick. I really want to get back to that size, I am wanting to change my eating habits for life... I do not want to go up and down. I hope to make positive and life long changes. I have read the book " Free to be Thin " by Neva Coyle and have really enjoyed it. That is what I would like to base my life style change on.
