Guest guest
, Too funny! Now I'll know when seeing a person that looks like a potato sack, exactly who the real you is! Dawn (unknown) Hey everyone! I have a laugh for you tonight. I asked my husband of only 2 years, what he would do when I get skinnny and have other guys look at me. (In response to the psych eval question) Just as easy as he breaths he said, " Not a problem, when you get skinny I'm putting a potatoe sack over you when we go out! " HaHaHa I was very surprised to have him tell me he will be very jealous but he trusts our relationship and what we have. So, I think that we will do fine if we keep the lines of communication open AND I don't do or say things that would make him feel insecure. Thanks for reading! Thanks for the support that all of you offer as it helps so much! Guest guest
Donna I can see no harm in it if you are healed in all areas of the incision. I had a wrap myself but lost nada ... I was guaranteed a free wrap as a result but I never made the 90 minute one way trip back to the salon. Good luck! Guest guest
My doctor prescribes Oxycodone for the pain. It's a narcotic based pain med as I can't take anti-inflamatories since I'm already on blood thinners for another health problem. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@... Guest guest
Lack of support can cause stress which can make this disease much more difficult to deal with. Hopefully you can find some of that support here. We are always willing to listen when someone needs to cry, complain, vent, scream or whatever. People who don't have it just don't know what we go through on a daily basis, can't understand what we go through. All of us here know and understand and are always willing to listen, give advice, give a shoulder to cry on, etc. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@... Guest guest
Have you tried sitting down and talking to both your son and your brother and asking them to do these things since you are sick and working tires you out more than a healthy person. You have a right to ask for and expect the help from them. If you really want to, do some searches on the internet on chronic pancreatitis and make them read them, that should give them a nice lovely clue to how you are doing. One of the side effects of the disease is fatigue due to pain, poor nutrition and sometimes sleep loss. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@... Guest guest
Dear toosweet; Generally when the pill changes, it's because the Dr. has changed the dosage... For instance, I take Effexor 75 mg. - It's a pink capsule with " Effexor 75 " printed on the side. (So I'm guessing all their capsules have the dosage printed on them. Tablets should have the dosage de-embossed on the sides.) However, if I changed to a new dose, I might be taking a different colored capsule, or perhaps a tablet, etc... But if I were taking the same dosage and just moved to another pharmacy, it shouldn't matter - the pill should still be exactly the same. They all come from the same manufacturer, so they should all be the same. I assume this is correct? I'd be very curious what yours says on the side! You might take a look under a bright light and see if it matches what you're prescription was for. Let us know... Terry in KC << i have read that a few of you are on effexor...i was taking the tablets, and changed pharmacy's today and they gave me capsules...is there a difference? >>
