I had to seek out what the steppers contemptuously called " earth people " and get out into the world. I had to get busy doing things that had nothing to do with " recovery " or steppism or " addiction " . It took me several years to clean steppism out of my psyche, and several years to not wince and cringe upon bumping into stepism in some form.
