How about any shakes that are tasty? I would suggest you go to www.vitalady.com. Most of us do protein shakes because our BODIES NEED THEM. Protein bars are a good meal replacement or a snack, but we need the shakes to keep our bodies healthy. I am a " addict " and love the shakes! I have between 4 and 6 a day. What kind of surgery did you have? You might want to subscribe also to OSSG-PROTEINYAHOOGROUPS (DOT) COM as there is a lot of information and also recipes to make shakes and lots of suggestions. Guest guest
Order some samples from www.vitalady.com. She has many delicious shakes to choose from. Everyone's tastes are different. My favorite is ProComplex chocolate. It is not as sweet as some, and mixes easily with water. Jeanne in WI Age 39 Open RNY 05/21/2002 314/ 255./150-175 5' 8 " djgraves@... Guest guest
Liz, there are two sites that provide protein samples. www.vitalady.com and www.wlssuccess.com - I use vitalady. Yes, protein shakes are a *good* thing. <G> I personally think the Pure Whey Protein Stack CHocolate and the Proscore 100 Chocolate and the PB55 Strawberry Twist are just wonderful. I make them all with water, and the strawberry twist I occasionally put 1/8 of a tsp of instant SF tang into the container before I shake. PS100 really works better with a little blender, or mini-mixer (I have 2 in my office at work), the Stack and the PBt55 Strawberry I can just shake up with no problem. Now, this is *my* taste, and others have very different tastes. That's why I suggest you start with the samples. Don't stint because something is cheaper. !) you're worth it, and 2) you should only do protein you really like. Otherwise it sits in the container. Pam in Niceville Diet I was wondering if anyone has any " creative " solutions to the protein problem. I am sick of fish and chicken, and sometimes they really make me feel sick. I am 4mo. post op. Are there any good protein bars that would work? How about any shakes that are tasty? Thanks.

Guest guest
Yup. I'm going to become distal. Not as distal as though. I won't know how distal until I have my final consult with the surgeon. Hopefully it will make everything smaller!! Except my boobs, they're small enough. I want to have something left for a plastic surgeon to lift. ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.comT http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! ® Re: Diet > > > << I was wondering if anyone has any " creative " solutions to the protein > problem. I moved down to Folsom, CA (outside Sacramento) 15 months ago. I still communicate with the office tho to help me in my recovery from my screwups of no protein or vites. We are having our eighth straight day of over 100 degrees here, and it's starting to get " a little old " . Although, I'm not really looking forward to the rain. Geesh, I thought Tacoma could rain, honey, Sacramento gets ALL it's rain (more than Tacoma/seattle) in as little as three months...
