Just curious. Are you taking Glucophage? I've read that it's

supposed to interfere with Vitamin B absorption. Just wondered if that

was relevant in your case.

Glad to hear your heart is okay.

Well, I wouldn't have any idea how to treat hangnails, but in

my more egotistical moments, I sometimes think I have a leg up on being

a diabetes doc. ;-)

You bet! Homocysteine and high-sensitivity C-Reactive Protein are the

two big markers after the typical lipid panel.

If you want to read some really good stuff on inflammation, its effect

on different body systems, and ways to combat it nutritionally, go to

www.lef.org and look up their protocol for " inflammation, chronic " .

Lots and lots of good reading there. I actually bought a copy of their

" big yellow book " for my doctor, who thinks it's great. We've been

experimenting with different things from it to bring my CRP down. Will

know more after being retested in June.
