The way to buy a good couch is to lay on it in the store..If you feel very comfortable...BUY IT....Guaranteed to put hubby or wife asleep.......That's how I have done it...hahaha.....Hope everyone's weekend went well.

I'm still working on it. I have been so busy with work the last couple of weeks trying to meet the production quotas required by our companies permits from the state. We had some electrical problems during the first part of the month and the plant was down for 4 days. We are only allowed to be down 40 hours a month.

Ok Trivia question for ya........Where is it(the state) where they make syrup?? That damn CRS has gotten me again but all the talk of the trees(Maple) made me remember hearing of the making of syrup........

I also had asthma as a baby... It went away when I was 5 yrs.

old...... I asked if this had anything to do with it and they said

no.... Thank you for the thoughts and prayers...... My plate is

overflowing, but by the Grace of God, and my will to fight back I am

hanging in there....

Hi Jan

Where ever sugar maples grow. I think Vermont might be the leader but most of the north east and New York state. Dave's country must make that good stuff. I don't know about west of there. It takes something like 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup. I have done it and it's a lot of work - mostly collecting the sap (which is like water). Then you keep a hot fire going under the evaporator pans until the specific gravity is right and then you draw it off into jugs. Near the end is critical because you can burn it. You end up staying up all night.

I think syrup is made in Vermont!!!!

night.... And the fight Saturday night was awesome!!! Hopkins kicked

Trinidad's butt. and the Eagles!!!! kicked the Cowboys!!!! That was a

We seem to be headed for a nice show this year. We had

a dry summer, but we've caught up in late summer early

fall. I think it's my favorite time of year around

here. It's perfect for hiking or biking, nice and cool

and colors everywhere, the deer are running in herds

yet. It is sometimes a small window of opportunity

though, with frigid temps ahead. -dz-

I guess I have it, too. It must be a mild case,

because I haven't needed an inhaler for years. I quit

smoking, which I'm sure helped. We all know you're

tough enough to handle it, but I hope that things

start to mellow out for you. Speaking for myself, I

know there are times when I start to think, I'm just

running out of fight. Where's the timeout? I guess it

Well, he's got 3 dogs at his mom's and we have a dog

I don't think the hair has anything to do with it..It's the dog that somehow takes the asmtha away.....I know it does sound silly but it is a known fact to many asmtha suffers.......

They do make it here. But I think the New England area

We were looking at a US puzzle we had gotten for my

son a while back. They have pictures of major products

from the area. There is a picture of a maple tree in

Vermont and in Wisconsin, so I imagine they must be

large producers. -dz-

As silly;;y as it sounds it seems to be true. When I was a kid we got one and I had fewer asthma attacks, and when I did they were not as severe.
