RE: Re: I am screaming from the roof tops!

Hi Nonie

That is fantastic news, my son who is 5 years old has just started saying words, although he works better under pressure, yesterday he woke up early and i had to take my eldest daughter to work at 6am, usually he stays in bed and my younger daughter listens out for him, well we got home and had breakfast, then about 7am the tears started and with that came the word beeeeeeed!! several times, his early morning had already started catching up with him. Also at the weekend he went to go and get my youngest daughters lap top from her room (he likes playing the car theory test disc, it is like he is sat in the car or driving) well it was early so my daughter was none to please about being woken up (teenagers!) so she ushered him out and locked the door, he then started shouting from the top of his lungs, "door"!! It is so wonderful to hear his voice more and more, like you i have worked so hard over the last year and 5 months to get him where he is tod ay, although he is still way off from being recovered he is a totally different boy than he was back then. It's always great to hear other parents success stories, keep up the good work and keep us all posted on the progess.

When ever he wants his brother to come help him with his video game he says Tooom. It is so cute. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. I am so happy. It has taken years of hard work for him to come this far. We have done so much biomedical and other therapies for so long. It is so wonderful to finally get a WOW! This group has helped so so much. I have been posting on here for years and have gotten so much help from you guys. I am so grateful to all the other mom's and dad's who have helped my little guy get healthier and happier through the years. I just wanted to share my happiness with people who really understand what this means to us.> Nonie

Nonie,

I have tears in my eyes as I read your post! That is such great news...you will

be hearing your son say Tom's name more and more now.....my dd (who was also

very late talking) loves saying her bro's name (especially when he is in

trouble!) LOL May God continue to give you more and more WOWs as your son

continues to heal! All my best, Tricia

Hi there,

That's awesome!!! I so know how you feel. One of my boys started talking about 18 months ago and the other still has no words. I tape recorded my sons first few words and I'd play them over and over....convinced it was the voice of an angle.

Thanks for sharing that.
