Guest guest
Good information. Thanks Jen. Regards, Re: your blood sugar results Hey guys, Two hour post breakfast I was 53, 2.9. Obviously I took to much humalog for breakfast since my target is to be 120, 6.6, or less but not that low. this time, I ate half a glucose which is 2 grams of carbohydrate so I don't spike high for lunch over 90, 5.0, because I still have sugar dumping in my system from the dawn phenomena. Guest guest
Sorry I have not posted my blood sugars, I was offline for a couple days, I have something weird going on, I just added in byetta to try and help me bring down my sugars a little more, I really want to avoid going back on insulin, but I have been running 120 to 170.. I just want it lower then that, saturday 117 am, 1/2 cup oatmeal and equal bluebrries and milk 139, 111 1/2 pb nsa sandwhich, apple, ww smoothie nsa, 124, 117 4oz steak squash,6 brussle sprouts.. at bed time I was 107.. but I work up this morning at 144 why is that? it has taken me all day to get it down, after two eggs this mornig it was 139 I did not eat anything else until it hit 98 this afternoon at about 3 and I had turkey and lf swiss on 1 slice of NF Bread. will test in a bit to see what it is. I have been very cranky the last couple days and feeling low but when I check as you can see above I am not low.. Kell MSN: Kell@... Guest guest
This would require the purchase of a scale I assume. What scale do you recommend? Guest guest
I use a scale that has large blue letters on a black background, but it doesn't talk. For someone who can't read large print, any talking gram scale would do, though. Jen Re: your blood sugar results This would require the purchase of a scale I assume. What scale do you recommend? Re: your blood sugar results Yay! I woke up at 104 today!! I can deal with that, when I wake up at 150, I spend the entire day trying to bring it down. In that way I miss insulin a little. Guest guest
Hey all, pre-dinner I was 87, 4.8. I ate tacos from taco bell minus the shell. I just ate the inside of two tacos and threw away the shell. I know, sounds insane, but I saved myself having to dose for 30 grams of carbos and got the taste. I also ate some more fresh green beans with parmesan cheese, hot pepper/salt, which is one of my favorites! I dosed 2 units of humalog to cover the meal. My two hour post sugar was 87, 4.8. Interesting to see there that my level never rose... pre-meal was 87, 4.8, 2 hour post was also 87, 4.8. I see results like this and feel great. I never swing high or low. Hopefully I can keep on keeping on and not be human *grin*. To deal with my carbo cravings in the evening, I drank another glass of red wine and a mozzarella cheese stick. This is seeming to work and lessoning my carbo cravings. I will try again tomorrow evening! Regards, Re: your blood sugar results It is because you are a type 1 diabetic who cannot count well.
