Guest guest
Steph- That's great that you are back at work. I know you were thinking you might need 2 more week off, so I'm glad to hear you are feeling well enough to go back. My hair is still shedding some too, but getting better. I switched my hair products to some more gentler products and that seems to be helping a lot. Yeah, being at work is good for us, it helps keep our mind off things. I'm feeling pretty good. I haven't had any nausea since Monday morning, so that is good. Overall, I am feeling pretty good too. I think my main complaints are the digestive issues, I'm still getting tired easily (I'm sleeping 8-9 hours every night, but I still feel exhausted when I wake up, everyone tells me that this was one of the last symptoms to disappear, so I'm not too worred.) I'm also having a little of the overall achiness, but it hasn't been NEARLY as bad, seems like it happens if I get stressed out at work or if I try to do too much. I think I am getting better each day though. I still don't feel like I can go out for a full day of shopping or anything like that. But, I know I'll eventually get there! I got my foot bath in the mail yesterday, my hubby said I could start using it now instead of waiting for Christmas, so I'm going to use it this weekend! Keep up what you're doing! You're going to be 100% in no time! Love, Krista --- In , " stephie0580 " <stephie0580@...> wrote: > > Hi Krista, Sorry about the big D. Guest guest
Hi Cherie- Yes, I have cut out most all sugar. I know that there is still a little sugar in some foods (such as my plain yogurt,) but I don't think I am eating much of it at all. I've been very strict with my diet. It is getting easier too. I don't feel like I am missing out on anything, so that's good! I'm only taking one of the CA each day because I was worried how they would effect me (since you got the itchies) but Rogene said I should work up to taking 10 of them a day! Not sure how fast I should work up to that..... Oh, I got my detox foot bath yesterday! I ordered it on Sunday and got it yesterday! I'm so excited to use it this weekend! Yes, apparently patience is the key in all of this, isn't it? I bet your body is worn down from surgery and that is why your cold is sticking around. After my first implant surgery, I swear I was fighting a cold for 2 months after the surgery! I get better, then worse, then better, etc. But, it eventually went away as my body healed. Sounds like you are doing all that you should be doing to help your body heal. My prediction is going to be right....I just have a feeling! And, I hope your prediction is right for me with the babies! Next year is going to be our year! Guest guest
Hi Dede, It's nice being back to work since it takes my mind off of things for a while. I feel better, just bummed about my hair coming out. I'm seeing a naturopath which I believe is helping more than my primary care dr. The fatigue is slowly disappearing but I still don't sleep like I used to. I wouldn't mind writing my story when I have some spare time. How are you doing? > > Steph ~ > I am glad you are getting back to your normal routine. > That will help occupy you and give your body a sense > of what is normal routine for it. Guest guest
I figured getting my to work and my " routine " would help things. I still haven't been sleeping like I used to which sucks. I need a full night's rest now that I'm back to work. What did you switch you're hair products to? That's awesome that you got your foot bath. My next appt is next Wed. I can't wait to get mine for Christmas. I still have the occasional achiness but I can handle it. The fatigue was the worst for the first week. Love, Steph > > > > Hi Krista, Sorry about the big D. Guest guest
Steph- I got in the habit of buying the expensive shampoos and conditioners that they push at the salon. I found recently that they were too hard on my hair. Now, I'm using Organix http://www.organixhair.com/ (I found it at Target,) and Dove. They are both very gentle, don't have a lot of extra chemicals, and my hair combs out so much nicer. My achiness is getting better too! Now, to get the sleeping back in order! Guest guest
Me too. I think when my shampoo runs out I'll try the one that you use. Thanks! Guest guest
Rogene, Sorry for the late response. I started with one at night with a full glass of water. I get a headache from them at first. Then I would up to two a day but then I'd get stomach aches. I would chalk it up to herx but it didn't get better, so I quit because I did not want to feel sick at work because of a pill I took. I did an entire bottle of fungal defense before starting the probiotics. I am going to try a milder form. My body is super sensitive to many medications, some vitamins and now I guess supplements. If something has side effects lists - I usually end up with one : ) Thanks, Lynn Re: Re: Bad cold Lynn,How much Primal Defense you are you taking, how often. Did you take an antifungal first?I think the stomach ache is because you need it so badly. You might try something milder for a while . . . How about Acidopholis? . .. Kefir? ThreeLac?Eventually you should be able to handle it.Hugs,Rogene
Guest guest
Lynn, Check everything for silicone dioxide . . . you may be hypersensitive to it. Herxes should become less severe the longer do use the same product . . . I suspect something else is going on if it stays at the same intensity for long.
