Guest guest
Rogene, Thanks for all this info, lots to read and learn. How often do you do them? Do you find them to be hugely beneficial? Hugs, Cherie > > > > > > Cherie, > > > > > > From all the reactions you've had, it looks like you have a rip- > > roaring fungal problem going on . . . Guest guest
Cherie, Manufacturer's of various foot baths say you can do them every 48 hours . . . I think that's too much, too fast. The place I did my first foot bath recommended one weekly . . . according to her, this was the recommendation of the physician who got her started offering foot baths. The doctor my daughter sees recommends weekly baths for about four months, then monthly. Mercola's clinic told PH she could do them twice a week. So, you can see there is considerable leeway . . . ly, I would see how I felt while doing them. . . If you feel great, do them more often than if they make you feel wiped out . . . If your feet burn, give yourself more time between to replace minerals like Magnesium. . . You're the only one to judge how often they work well for you. The nice thing about having your own is that you're in control of all aspects. You can use cooler water, less salt, shorten the sessions, etc. until you find what works best for you. The idea is to get the toxins out - however long that takes. The water will gradually look better so you can see your progress - and you should start feeling better as well. Still, it's not a quick fix. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Yes, I'm still taking pain killers, however I noticed that I started to become constipated two days prior to surgery. I had a feeling it was the Threelac, I was increasing my packets. I started taking one packet yesterday along with enzymes and Pearls. This combo is about the best my body can handle right now without horrible herxing. I have a guestion for ya about fat transfers. My legs are very bruised and sore and that's why I continue with the pain killers but I was wondering if there was anything else you used? I put pure aloe vera on it but it doesn't help all that much. Any suggestions? Thanks, Cherie > > > > Cherie, > > > > From all the reactions you've had, it looks like you have a rip- > roaring fungal problem going on . . . Guest guest
I do them once every two or three weeks. I herx pretty bad each time and feel flu like for about 2 days and then I feel wonderful. I think everybody is different but I would think about this. I try to do mine on Thursdays or Fridays to prepare for some relax time. Hugs, Lynn Re: Re: Post-op advice Cherie, Manufacturer' s of various foot baths say you can do them every 48 hours . . . Guest guest
Hi Cherie, I hate to say this but it really just took time for mine to heal. I used my pain killers for several weeks. My dosing continued to get smaller and smaller - maybe to 1/2 a pill a day or two times a day to every other day. Soon, Tylenol was enough but it took a while. The fat transfers hurt a million times more than the explant. Hang in there sweetie! I know how painful it is - ouchie! I also had the lumps under my skin like did. They finally broke up and went away as well. Lynn Re: Post-op advice Hi Lynn,Yes, I'm still taking pain killers, however I noticed that I started to become constipated two days prior to surgery. Guest guest
Cherie, It has been 7 months since my surgery and I can still feel a very tiny lump but the majority of it is gone, it was bad at first. I remember the pain though and it is hard to "TRY" to feel good when your body aches. Be joyous in the fact they are gone and take one day at a time. Guest guest
Cherie, I still have a few lumps that seem to have really just broken up in the past week or so. I don't know if it just takes me longer to heal but it really took a long time. (over 2 months) I guess it can take up to 4 months even for all these to go away. My massage therapy the past 3-4 weeks has really helped get the lumps to go away. I started to get worried about 4 weeks after surgery, but found out this can sometimes take a long time. Hang in there. > > > > > > > > Cherie, > > > > > > > > From all the reactions you've had, it looks like you have a rip- > > > roaring fungal problem going on . . . Guest guest
Cherie, Something else that really helped me was to go out and buy some compression garments... I bought Control It by Maidenform. These just seemed to make me much more comfortable by compressing everything. I gradually weaned myself from wearing these. I still wear them if I know that I'm going to be on my feet for awhile. Just feels so much more comfortable. I know eventually I won't need them at all. Hope this helps. > > > > > > > > Cherie, > > > > > > > > From all the reactions you've had, it looks like you have a rip- > > > roaring fungal problem going on . . . Guest guest
Lynn . . . You've got the right idea . . . It's hard to do something, knowing you might feel bad afterwards . . . Guest guest
Thanks Lynn and , I just spoke to at Dr. Huang's is she is sending me a new RX for my pain meds, the percocet really works but I need a written RX. She told me to keep ice on it to help with the pain too and its working. I have my trustly bag of frozen peas, those work so great instead of ice packs. I just wish I could get some energy. I've worked a bit at home today but ready for a bit of nap. I run out of steam in such a short period of time, this is so not like me. I'm eating smaller more frequent meals too but it helps for only a short period of time. I do appreciate your advice ladies and your support.....I SO NEED IT. I'm very depressed today, having one of those crying days again. Didn't think I would have these days after explant. Guess my body sure is going thru some masssive changes. When I came home from Denver last Friday, I started my period a week early, I'm sure this is why I'm a hormonal mess and crying. Thanks for helping me and I will keep hanging in there. Guest guest
Yeah , Your right, I bought a griddle type garment before surgery for my thighs and I still am wearing it to work. Guest guest
Yes, and don't be surprised if it lasts for a few days. Mine typically lasts for two. Drink lots and lots of water and Rogene suggests that you replace the magnisium that you lose. Take double the calcium that you take of magnesium. The baths pull out the good and the bad. Lynn Re: Post-op advice Thanks Dede. I was happy about the extra sleep that I got last night. I did the foot bath this morning and now I feel a little sluggish. Guest guest
Stephie, Dede can't do foot baths because she has a pacemaker . . . I don't feel fatigued after my foot baths . . . But my daughter reported feeling energized sometimes but more often she's ready to sleep. She usually does them before bedtime, so if she's sleepy she can go right to bed. Did you do the Infrared sauna too? Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
I was going to and decided to wait. I didn't want to over-do it. Maybe that happened because it was my first time doing one. The water was an orange color with clumps of white (yeast) and black specks (metal). When I was done my naturpath put glove on and picked up one of the metal flakes and let me smell it...sure enought it smelled like metal. Guest guest
Cherie, Didn't you say you walked the Denver airport to get to your plane? . . . If you did, I'd bet you were feeling desperate by the time you got to your gate. When I get that desperate feeling, it's usually because I've pushed myself too far . . . Used up my reserves. . . . Depending on how badly I've pushed myself, it can take minutes to weeks to bounce back. Some of the fatigue you're experiencing may be from pushing yourself - not just your surgery. Guest guest
Steph- At least you didn't have a worm crawl out! HEHEheheheh....I would just die right there on the spot! I think since you had a good experience, I will give it a shot. I found a place here in my city where they do it on Saturdays. So, I'm going to call and see when I can get in. It will be interesting to see what comes out! I think I'll take a picture with my cell phone so I can show my husband that they actually do work, then maybe he'll let me buy one, because right now he is very skeptical. ~Krista > > > > Stephie, > > > > Dede can't do foot baths because she has a pacemaker . . . > > > > I don't feel fatigued after my foot baths . . . Guest guest
For a few days I am fatigued but then I feel wonderful. I think my body is just herxing - which is a good thing, means the bath is getting the toxins out. My water is always super super orange with bubbles. I have black flakes too but they are getting fewer with each bath I do. Guest guest
I usually do them right before bed and seem to have more energy and better vision the next day. At first I felt a little tired, but the more I do them, the better I feel. For a while I was doing them and the water was getting less thick to the point it was very light orange, almost clear with tons of white yeast on top. I stopped for a while and then started up last week and it was thick orange and black sludge again! I need to be more diligent but tonight I just feel exhausted...probably all the toxins from getting highlights today. How come it's so hard to balance health with vanity?! - PH > > > > > > Mornin Stephie ~ > > > Honey, be sure and drink lots of water while > > > doing these detox's and take extra minerals.... . > > > The detoxing removes good along with the > > > bad, so you need to take extra and drink lots > > > of water. > > > I am so glad you slept better last night, that > > > is great ! ! > > > Hugs Dede > > > > > > > > > > > > ************ ********* ********* ******** See what's new at > > http://www.aol. com > > > > > >
Guest guest
Last night I felt achy, tired, and just completely miserable. Since I had a reaction like this, when do you think I should do another foot bath? > > > > > > Mornin Stephie ~ > > > Honey, be sure and drink lots of water while > > > doing these detox's and take extra minerals....
Guest guest
I feel a little better today but not 100%. I guess I had alot of toxins in me. How often do you think I should do them since I felt sick afterwards the first time? I'm scared to do them now since I felt so sick yesterday. Guest guest
Hi Stephie,You really must have a lot of toxins . . . The good news is that they are moving! . . . Keep drinking a lot of water for the next few days so you can keep flushing those toxins.I doubt that you will ever this bad after a foot bath again . . . With each foot bath, you should react less until you hardly notice them. . . You can reduce the amount of time a little. Of course, that will reduce the amount of toxins you remove. This is not the time to get afraid of doing the foot baths . . . It's time to be concerned about how much damage these toxins are doing inside you. Then get them OUT! . . . I wish it could be easier . . . Just Thank God there is a way to get this garbage out of your body.Hugs,Rogene
