Lea,

Your hubby sounds like a great man! Your a blessed woman! I know

that my ex would not had even wanted to begin to learn what I am

going thru. I had married a man with no compassion...I mean none!

When I got sick with anything while I was married to him, he would

distance himself from me and act angry about it. Another reason why

I left him.

Krista,

The law of attraction is what the " Secret " is about. Attracting what

you want into your life. It is easier said than done. It seems to

take a lot of practice. From what you ladies are telling me, it is

beter that I am doing this alone. I have been glad that this

happened after my divorce, my ex would have been horrible thru this.

He does not have or understand compassion, he has the " it's all about

me " mentality. I realize why I am so picky, at my age you know what

you want and will not settle for any less. When your young, you don't

know any better. I am using my wisdom to find the right match.

I know it's hard in your marriage right now but as you explant and

get better, so will your marriage. All marriages go thru tuff times

but if it's solid marriage, you'll survive. Sounds like you love

each other very much....that means a lot my dear! I lost the love in

my marriage and when it's gone, it ends the marriage. It did for me

anyway.

Take your own advice...stay positive! Dang girl, you only have 5

days until explant...YEAH!

Love,

Cherie

Dede,

You are 1000% right! . . .

Re: Re: Can anyone relate?

Krista, Cherie, and Everyone Here

Please, Please, Please...... ........I am on my knees begging....

DO NOT blame yourself for what has happened

to you with these implants. Put the blame where it

belongs. Right on the FDA, drug companies, doctors,

and the media. You were lied to. THEY did you

wrong. You made your decisions based on trusting

their word. You were raised believing as adults, you

could trust and respect people in these positions in

society. As it turns out, they are some of the worst

and deceptive people on the planet. In my book

purposely advertising and selling a product that can

potentially kill people is the same as pre-meditated

murder. I also believe that it is " intent to harm "

They know that 30 percent of people with implants

will have toxic spills that can potentially kill them, so

they know that lots of people could die from their

product. So, girls....this frees you from blame.

You made your choices with the best of your

ability, with the information you were given by these

honest, trust worthy, respectful, and highly

respected ........demons. Dont let them also have

your integrity, and your self respect. They dont

deserve it ! !

Oh, Cherie you know I will. In my sweet little way she'll know that

I'm saying " I told you so. "

The weird part is that she doesn't look any better with the implants.

She was such a cute lil thing before, but now when I look at her with

those big things attached to her chest, she looks heavier and about 10

years older. Has anyone else noticed that about some people?

Cherie- If I would have known these stupid things still had silicone

in them, I wonder if I would have gotten them. I can't imagine all of

these women putting silicone into their bodies knowing full well of

ALL the complications out there with those things. It's like " have you

been living under a rock the past 20 years?! "

Rogene- I promise that I will move past it. I'm still in the beginning

stages of all of this, the " I can't believe it, what have I done? "

stages. I know that my health will return and I will move past all of

this, it is just going to take some time. I know I will forgive myself.

I did fall into the trap of feeling like I needed to look perfect to

be accepted. I no longer feel that I have to be perfect to be accepted

and beautiful. All women are beautiful whether they have large breasts

or small breasts, that is something I did not realize 5 years ago, I

know better now.

Now, we just need to get the REST of the women out there to understand

this!

Lea- sounds like a wonderful man. I wish there were more men out

there like who would get involved and stand up for us women.

Tell I said thank you and he is a wonderful man for all he is

doing for us.

Cherie- The weather is going to be fabulous for you. It is so hot out

there today. Hubby and I took our walk and we were sweating! I don't

think the weather is supposed to change that much over the next week.

You'll be fine, I promise! Denver might get cold but we don't get

nearly the amount of snow as out of staters think we do. The rocky

mountains get a lot of snow, but Denver is sure not in the rocky

mountains!

I trust Dr.Huang fully too. She is a very nice lady. You will notice

that she is very quiet. Sweet as can be, but VERY quiet and gentle

spirited. Your day is so close, this week is going to zip by and then

before you know it you'll be leaving for Denver!

Love,Krista

Hey Krista,

Your friend gets toxic boobs and doesn't even look good with

them....what a bummer! Ya know, that's kinda how I feel about mine.

I didn't want to be any bigger than C and I am a D. That's too big

for me. I feel heavier with mine. I looked like smaller person

before implants. Looking forward to getting smaller!

Yeah I agree about the silicone implants....Hello...anyone home? The

plastic surgoens office I went to are really pushing these silicone

gels now. I just don't get either....silicone is silicone. I guess

these doctors are telling these woman that they are the " safe "

silicone gel.

Hugs to you!

Cherie- Yeah, but she probably thinks she looks just fabulous though.

Even hubby said she looks ridiculous, and he wasn't just saying it to

agree with me, he said it makes her look heavier.

Yeah, the PS's sure are pushing these silicone implants, I'm not quite

sure what the deal is but the PS she went to said he is ONLY doing the

silicone implants and won't do anymore salines. She insisted on going

with him because he did Dolly Pardon's boobs. I thought " oh and that

would make me trust him one 100% too! " (not!) This other PS she saw

for a consultation said he is doing very few salines, mainly silicone.

That is the problem, these PS's are pushing these things which is

giving women a false sense of security. Like Dede said, we've all been

brought up to trust doctors and believe they'd never do anything to

harm us intentionally. What a big bowl of bullsh** that is! I believe

that some doctors are in it to truly help others (my cousin is a

doctor and I know he does it for the right reasons,) but there are so

many more that are in for the $$$$. It's just sad, and this is who we

put our trust into. :-(

You are going to look so great smaller, Cherie! I think your self

confidence is going to sky rocket! Remember, confidence is the most

important thing. Confidence is so much more sexy then big toxic boobs!

Love, Krista

ps. That just made me think of something, I think I need to have a

little talk with cuz. Perhaps he can help us???? Hmmmm........

Krista ~ Cherie ~

You are so right ! I have 2 friends that met

their partners online, and they have very

successful and loving marriages, and have been

for a good while.

I would have never thought that was possible,

but it is......

Dede,

On-line dating obviously worked for Krista however not for me. I

tried for a year and half and all it did was make me hate dating. I

met a lot of men but could not find chemistry. Really not sure what

avenue I will take next year when I try to get back info it. On- line

dating burnt me out! I REALLY want to have a relationship.....just

hate looking for one.

Hugs,

Cherie

Thank you so much Lea. Your support really means alot. My doctor told

me that general anesthesia is much safer then local w/ IV sedation. Do

you know if that's true? I'm so worried about general anesthesia.

I was so worried about general anesthesia before my surgery also. My

doctors office sent me information that stated with todays technology,

there are really almost no complications with anesthesia anymore.

When I think about having general anesthesia 18 years ago to have my

implants put in, in a little operating room off the ps office... oh my....

Now it is much safer... Don't worry... you will be fine. You go to

sleep, wake up and it is all over....

Steph- what about general anesthesia are you worried about? You

really don't have much to worry about these days. Very few people

have any complications with it, and if you haven't up to this point,

then you are probably safe. Don't let your mind play tricks on you.

Honestly I just don't like the idea of it because I'm not in control

of waking up on my own. Last time it just really made me sick.

Thanks Lea. I've been so nervous for the past few days I just can't

stop worrying.

>

> Honey, I know that things have changed so much over the years.

General anesthesia is very safe, and I have had it several times. I

am not sure which one is the safest, but if your doctor has told you

that the general is safer, please trust your doctor. We all worry

about the anesthetic; however, it is normal to have some fears. You

will be fine, and when you arrive at he hospital, the doctors will

give you something to make you forget your worries. The last time

that I had surgery, they gave me a shot of something that made me

forget everything.

Steph,

You should be able to talk to the anesthesiologist before surgery.

Tell him/her what you have experienced in the past. I've done that

and they were are accomodating. I told one once about getting really

nauseated after sugery and she made me feel much better! Since I

have been itching, I'm for sure going to tell mine on Tuedsay. They

really try to make you feel comfortable. They have their magic...

Hugs to you!

Thanks Cherie. Good luck with your explant! I actually called the

surgery center and they left a message for the anesthesiologist to

call me tomorrow. I can't wait for this to be over with!

Steph- I'm the same way. My Mom tells me that whenever I come out of

surgery I don't wake up for EONS! She says she just stands there and

talks to me and keeps saying over and over " Krista wake up, Krista

wake up. " Then when I finally come out of my hazy state, I feel like I

need to ralph. So I can SO relate!

What's funny to me is that after both boob surgeries I've had, they

had me completely dressed (shoes and all) and IN the car before I

remember anything.

So, like everyone keeps saying, just tell your anesthesiologist about

your concerns. They will make accomodations for you and make sure you

are comfortable.

It will be over with before you know it!

Krista,It sounds like an amnesia thing more than anesthesia . . . You were likely functioning well before you were aware of doing so.They've given me anesthesia a number of times where they tell me that I won't be asleep, but I won't remember anything. . . They want me awake enough to follow instructions. . . but out of it enough that I won't feel pain, or remember it. Rogene

Rogene- Is that the twilight sedation Patty was talking about?

Yeah, I'm sure I appeared to be functioning just fine or they would

not have sent me home. I just don't remember any of it! I do remember

after my last surgery waking up for a split second, looking down and

seeing my 4-year old niece putting my shoes on (she likes to be a

helper.) But, I don't remember much of anything else until I got

home....strange how our minds do that.

Krista,I think twilight sedation is different - Not as deep. But the effects of general anesthesia can be similar as it wears off. To those around you, you probably appeared to be sleepy and relaxed, but conscious. Some of our friends are retired nurses . .. Last night they got to talking about the things some people say while coming out from under anesthesia . . . Really uptight people can let their hair down . . .But time! . .. One said she never wanted anyone she knew personally to operate on her . .. So she changed surgeons because the one she would have used went to her church . . . Lo and behold, the one who did the surgery joined shortly afterwards. You're not held responsible

for anything you say!Hugs,Rogene Re: Can anyone relate?

Oh man, Rogene could I tell y'all some funny stories of what I said

after just waking up from surgery. My Mom could have you all in

stitches in seconds! The fam likes to re-tell the stories over and

over and they never get old, because I do indeed say some funny stuff!

I will have hubby try and remember what I say this time and let you

guys know. I'm sure we will have some more " funny Krista stories " to

tell after this.....
