, You've got it down pat then! It definitely works...so glad to hear you've been successful in getting through your explant with few pain meds. Meditation is a pretty cool thing! I love the idea of going places in my mind to get away from the drudgery here at times. Your places to go sound so pretty. I get myself back into the woods, smelling the pines, the campfire, seeing the deer and the beautiful aspens. I hope you continue to heal quickly. You've got all the surgery behind you now. Now, it's just a matter of time and detoxing. Love, Pattycynthia pyne <pynerone@...> wrote: Patty, When I do meditative thinking, I invision places I've never seen before. I've been using meditation for my pain since surgery. I think that's why I haven't had to take much pain medication. I only took 7 pills out of a bottle of 30. I still hurt from time to time, but not enough to take anything, it's just annoying pains. Take care of yourself. Love Tricia Trish <glory2glory1401 > wrote: Hi Lynn, I'm up too! I am really sorry to hear about all this pain you are in. I had no idea it would be so painful. What did she have to do to fix the inversions? I wouldn't imagine that she would have to cut too much, would she? Maybe a teeny tiny incision? I sure hope your pain subsides quickly with the ice and the pain meds. Pain makes it hard to think about anything else, I am sure, but the more you think about it, the more it bothers you! Try to

change your meditative focus on other pleasant things for awhile....like a beautiful spot you visited--try to recall every detail in your mind of what made it so beautiful, and maybe you will be able to forget the pain and fall asleep again! Lynda, I have never had anything done with my nipples before - do you know how long the severe pain will last? Perhaps I should call tomorrow? She said the pain would be minimal and

to call her if it was bad. I may be a big wuss but this is honestly much worse than the explant and I can still feel pain even with vicodin. I decided to put some ice on them as well, thought I could numb it a bit. It helps a very very very tiny bit. I am praying that I am not going to kick my self in the butt because once again I did something in the name of vanity! I was trying to think of it more as part of the explant and finishing up getting those sick toxic bombs out of me. Talk to you all tomorrow as I am sure nobody is crazy enough to be up at this hour but me. Hugs, Lynn Be a better Globetrotter. Get better travel answers from someone who knows. Patty,

So funny. I have 2 half-Kymer

(Cambodian) granddaughters and 2 half Native

American granddaughters (have to ask my daughter

which tribe) and 1 grandson that is about 1/8

Native American (another tribe) and don't know

about the ancestry of the other 3. Pretty jumbled, I would say.

Lynn, I'm traveling and can't check all the responses you've had - so someone may have already said this . . . I know it hurts like crazy right now . . . and may for a little while. However, be thankful you have sensation in your nipples! . . . Many times women lose all sensation after implant or explant. Maybe Dr. Huang can give you some numbing spray or lotion to use for the time being. Hugs, Rogene

Rogene,

Well I have ultra senstation. I am happy that I have feeling in them but I wish it didn't hurt so dang bad.

Good idea about the spray or lotion. If the pain doesn't ease up by tomorrow, I will call Dr. Huang. Right now I am on vicodin and I am still in pain.

Hope you are having a nice time on the road.

Hugs, Lynn

Thanks for your good healing wishes. I getting there, one day

at a time. Just as long as I'm moving forward I'm okay with it.

Glad to hear you got your drains out.

I think I hold the record on length drains were in LOL.

Take good care.
