Guest guest
Hi Jody and all! Just letting you know I am doing alright. I am just about 31 weeks now and the baby is a little over 4 lbs. which is right on target for me. I had the ultrasound last week and all looks okay for now. Not dilating but continue to have contraction like spasms, sometimes every 3-4 minutes lasting a few hours. But since I am not dialting they don't want to put me on any meds that could cause the horrible tachy, obviously contraindicated with Graves. So I am on modified bedrest. I mainly just hang out, lay down, lay on the raft in the pool, but really not much else. If it were total bedrest I must say I would indeed go crazy!! A few more weeks when about 34-35 weeks I won't be so concerned. Should there be any changes I will let you all know otherwise status quo for now. Hope all other pregos doing great!! Donna you are over the half way point now, hurray! Caroline coming real soon, how exciting! Hope all is well with everyone elso of course too! I. Guest guest
Hi Caroline, you are on my mind lately, getting so close to birth. My hubbie will be home for about 9 weeks. In new Jersey kids go to public school for a minimum of 180 school days but in my husbands district they go at least 185 (it looks good in statistics). Teachers go an additional 4 days or so for meetings, etc. So I indeed have my incredible Mr. Mom home. As far as my blood work my free levels have remained pretty well stable in the upper norm range FT3 370's and FT4 1.4-1.5. So I haven't needed replacement. I worry more about postpartum having my thryoid go crazy hyper again which usually happens although I don't let it go out of control. That's where my concern lies about the RAI and thyroidectomy issue. Of course I wouldn't do these while breast feeding though so that puts the issue at least 10 months to a yr. after the birth. We will have to see what occurs. Oh and by the way this boy feels like a real active one. He is nonstop movement except for about 5 hrs during the night which is a good sign. His sleep wake cycle so far looks like he likes to sleep more at night, thank goodness! Regards to all, I. Re: need advice from GDer's who have been pregnant. > Hi > > You are doing really well. Guest guest
Hi I'm glad all is stable for you and thank God your hubby can help with your family. I also pray my levels don't go crazy - just have to wait and see I guess. Hope you little fellow stays in his current sleep pattern. Mine never wakes me up with movements, so I assume that it is also not too active at night. Your almost there - hope all goes well Caroline {USER_FIRSTNAME} {USER_LASTNAME} wrote: > Hi Caroline, you are on my mind lately, getting so close to birth. Guest guest
Best of luck Caroline! Say " Cheers! " to the baby for me. I hope your delivery is easy and quick. I hope your good health continues, too. I'm praying for an easy delivery also and I hope I can remain stable after the baby is born.
