The Mafia came to power as an illegal organization

when alcohol was prohibited in this country Pete...as

Alcohol is now legal in the good ol' USA, I don't

believe that the Seagram's company engages in drive by

shootings with the Jack s company...

Obviously legalizing of street drugs would defund the

gangs and illegal organizations that now supply

customers. These organizations would vanish...

As would the need to police such organizations,

thereby resulting in the need for a smaller police

force, thereby resulting in: BINGO! less tax dollars

needed...

I think police corruption in the form of bribes and

payoffs would vanish or diminish too..

prices would drop radically..would more people try

drugs if they were legalized? I think so maybe

intitially....not sure about this point..

Hello Mike

I could chew the fat over politics but, as I have indicated, I wouldnt

want it to be a divisive force here. This should not be interpreted as

indicating that I do not have answers to what you say below. I will

answer regarding the WoD, as otherwise ppl may infer incorrectly that I

was defending it. I believe that, as with most things, the Dutch

handle the drugs problem the best, and would handle it even better if

they were not hamstringed by international agreements reached partly as

a result of American political domination.

ok.......this is probably not a good forum for

political debate anyway, although if you want to talk

or debate about it we could do so by personal e-mail

to e-mail.

Sincerely Mike
