You are losing your internet connection? I know cable is faster but there are alot of dial up connections out there. How about Earthlink? I think they even give you a free month to try them out. I think they offer security services too!!! Don't go, I just got back here!!!! Hope you are doing ok. Guest guest
Cassy, I'm glad you aren't leaving. I'm sorry about you and your fiance, but it is probably for the best, at least for you and your kids. I'm happy that he is willing to help you. It can be overwhelming, I know. Stress is the last thing that any of us needs in our life. What about your family? Have you asked them for any help? I know you said you couldn't work. Are they close by you? I'm sure they wouldn't want you or your girls to be in a relationship that would put any of you at risk. I'm so happy you are staying. Let us know how things are going. Keep your chin up!! Guest guest
Hey Cassy~ How are you feeling? I'm sorry your dad is being so insensitive. And that was a real insensitive suggestion he made to you, not to mention what he's done to your mother. Gotta tell ya. It doesn't sound like guilt though. Now, I hope you don't think that I'm being insensitive by wanting to find you a really good man. Oh yeah!! I forgot to tell you. I'm known as the matchmaker of the family. Yepper! And I do a real good job. I have just the man for you. No...really, I mean it. His name is Mark. He's 46yrs. old. Beautiful smile, with pretty straight teeth. People say he looks a lot like Chamberlin. (When he was younger) He's got blue, blue eyes. A Baritone voice. He's divorced (for many years now). He drives a Miati(sp), red convertible. He's very artistic, has a great sense of humour. He's out-doorsy. Loves nature and animals. In fact, he's very in tune to the enviroment around him. He takes a drink only on occasion. Not a heavy drinker. Right now, he's really into chainsaw art. He makes carvings from old logs and they are beautiful. Now here's what I forgot to mention. He's a hard worker. Makes decent money. He likes the finer things in life, but won't spend his money on things he can't afford. And this I am quite serious about. If he were not my brother...I would have sought him out many years ago. He's a great catch. BTW....I've told him about you. And he asked me to write this post to you. But, I want you to understand. I didn't make any of this up. I wouldn't do that. INTERESTED??? Guest guest
Well,if hes a genius and is already a smart guy he probably wouldnt want my drama, let alone be with someone who is usually really sick most of the time.(dont tell him I said that) does he live by you? It is probably to soon to know anything that will happen, but I will tell ya.I cant really relate with to many people my age. Most of them are party animals And go to clubs and stuff. What did you say about me?? I am a shy wimp.lol.Im sure as time goes by I feel different.Or hope anyway.lol. I will wait to hear all the good stuff from you before I give him my email addy.lol..Hey did you get my email the other day? One of those kinds that doesn't know a stranger (Well, no one stranger than me anyway). He has kids. Two beautiful daughters who are all grown now. I've never even seen them. They live in Idaho, and I've lived here in NC. all their growing up years. I've told you all of his great qualities. Now I'll tell you the negative ones. Oh wait....there's only one. He's a borderline genius. Extremely intellegent(sp). That however, may not be a negative to you. But, there are times when he'll be talking about something and it completely goes over my head. Guest guest
Well I don't think you are giving yourself enough credit. And hey...You gotta give him some. He knows that I met you in a support group. He is very supportive himself. He's not a party animal, but he does like to party quietly. That means, he's not into the gotta go out with the boys stuff. He lives a very quiet life. He is however, very family oriented. That is another thing we don't have alot in common. I love my family, but I don't like to be around them all the time. I'm a little more private that way. He knows you have children. He says he has no problem with that. I believe him. You should see how he is around kids. He's a big kid himself. I'm trying to get a pic of him for you. He said I could send one. I really think you'd find him attractive. There are three of us in the family. Me the oldest, Mark 11 months younger, and Cordell, the baby 43yrs. (Who now seems to be smitten with one of my long-time good friends). And although, Cordell is good looking as well, Mark is the one who was blessed with the most of the looks. You should see him in a suit! Re:.... We can build him his own cabin...there's room... And Yes, I *am* a good cook...and our lifestyle is (finally) great...after years of it not necessarily being so great...I love it here. Guest guest
He sounds great Val.Were does he live? Ahh.a big kid.thats cute I love family oriented men.I am always around my family,so if hes around his,you must all get along, and thats a wonderful thing.Family is very important to me on both parts.Cant wait to see a pic. MAYBE soon I will get the balls to email him.lol.I havnt been single for a long time. You must be a good matchmaker.Did you hook your other brother and friend up? My friend jus joined match.com ?(the one doctor Phil created) She had to pay over 30 bucks for 1 month! And shes so chicken she wont go meet the guy she talks to on there.lol.It gives points,so like her and this guy have 18 points outta 21,so there almost a perfect match by all the info you answer on there.Kinda funny.lol. Luv ya,cassy [cop.girl@...] wrote: Well I don't think you are giving yourself enough credit. Re: ...Cassy Wow Val! Really? You know im only 26 right? He sounds incredible though and he must be very sweet since he is.... Guest guest
Cassy~ I actually tried to keep my friend and my other brother from hooking up. They would really be a great couple, but unfortunately, they both have issues that should be resolved before getting too serious. The biggest one being....they are both already married. To different people of course. I met her when I live in Texas. She was only 16 then. Still in highschool. My brother had a crush on her then, but she wasn't interested. They used to act like brother and sister. Well, that was over 20yrs. ago. They just recently started seeing each other. She left her husband and my brother went to Texas and brought her here to NC. with him. She has been a really good help though. I don't think he ever would have gone into treatment if it wasn't for her. He'd be sitting in jail. As far as Mark goes.....I'd think that he would prefer if you let him have the "balls". You know how men can be if their "cajones" are in jeopardy. Hey, you gotta pic I can send to him? Or would you rather I didn't? GBU...Val Re: ...CassyWow Val! Really? You know im only 26 right?
