Ronda I will pray that everything turn out ok for you. As far as your grandma have you ever considered putting her in a memory unit of a care home. We did that with Kens mom, she is much happier now, and the brother that she lived with has much more freedom. It is truly a personal choice and it is a hard thing to do. Kens mom gets many more visitors now that she is in the home. Good luck on the medications.

Jeanas-My Dad won't ever do that my Mom and I have talked about it with him but to him there is nothing wrong with his Mom. But, it is his Mom and I am sure it is hard to except I don't know because my Parents are both fine. We thank God for having her for 90 years but it has been very hard for everyone. Thanks for the suggestion! Thanks for the prayers.

It took a long time for Ken and his brothers to see that his mom was declining. But like I said it is a hard thing to do and some people just cant do it. I admire them, for their patience

Ronda....I had no Insurance and they gave me samples most of the time it was very little that I had to buy....when it came to the 5 year one the case worker filled out some papers for me and I get mine at no cost....if I had to pay for it it would be if I am not mistaken 345.00 a mo....I see you are taking much more but every time I went in they gave me a big sack of samples....so when you go in ask your doc for samples.....most of the time if you don't ask they wont give them....

Prayers for your mother and grandmother....and you are always in my prayers and I pray that God will lift you up and give you strength and peace God Bless

I am not working at all I am not strong enough. I am seeing a counselor to help me through past issues and dealing with what I am going through as well. My past job is paying for the counselor for one year. I received a call last week telling me that I have been terminated due to the high cost of my health and no I can't fight them on this one. I was on probation for five years and I have only been with them for four years. But, I want each of you to know I am all right with this my job was very demanding and stressful so I don't know what my future holds but God is in control and will provide for me. Otherwise I just go day by day and that is all I can do right now.I do have a prayer request! My Mom has to have

surgery at the end of August. Her bladder has fallen and they have to go in a tack it back in place and take her ovaries. She had a hysterectomy when I was 17 years old and almost died. This surgery will take 3-4 hours and their are two different doctors doing the surgery not only that we have Grandma living with us she is 90 years old and is just terrible to my Mom. Please pray that the surgery goes well and that she heals quickly and will not get any infections like she has in the past surgeries that she has had. Also, that Grandma will give her a break Grandma has dementia pretty bad so we try to understand but she has been pretty bad to my Mom lately. Thanks for listening and I hope all is well with each of you.Hugs,Ronda

Hi Ronda,

I was going to email you today to see how you were doing. Things have been hectic around here. Our granddaughter was in ICU, she was doing wheelies on her bike and went backwards. She has 7 staples in her head. We are trying to get the new house all finished so we can get out of here.

I will keep your Mom in my prayers. I am sorry Grandma is being so mean to her.

I also am looking for assistance with my meds. I need to get going on it as I have only about 2 weeks worth left.

You are in my prayers as always.

Hugs

What routes have you tried to get your medications?

My sister went through the county social services and found several

organizations to assist her. One was a catholic charity. I also think

she got on some program where she got certain medications at a

discount from pharmacy companies. She did need a doctor's authorization.

What state do you live in?
