Guest guest
I cannot believe they would send amateurs with little training and NO English, to install a 3k slab in my kitchen! I had to stop them during the install cause they were leaving a 2 inch gap due to the crappy cabinet install. So the cabinet guys had to come out while the counter guys waited. My bar is installed with a 2 or 3 inch gap. I will call them but I can guarantee that nothing will be done, I will be told that the cuts are OK. I have seen this time and again, this calking to cover bad miter corners and then telling me that is how it is done. It does not seem to matter who you go to. They all employ these poor non-English speaking guys and expect them to do great work with little training. -- Re: Re: Adjusting to Hc if this is a professional install THEY have to replace things they damage. Guest guest
I had mine removed the same way. The oxygen thing kept popping off my nose and I tried to hold my breath. One cannot talk or even ask to have the oxygen placed properly, with the damn and equipment in your mouth. I got extremely poisoned. The dentist did not seem to think much about that nor took any responsibility. His attitude was that he did all he could and I should use his naturopath, who works out of his office, to detox. I am in Houston. The amalgam removal cost more than a face, neck and eye plastic surgery combined! -- Re: Adjusting to Hc > > How are you having your amalgams removed? Guest guest
Yes, I had them all replaced. In my town, only 3 dentists do the work. My dentist replaced most of my amalgams with cerek or a composite filling. Aside from my bite being off after multiple attempts of his fixing it and the mercury poisoning, my teeth feel great. -- Re: Adjusting to Hc > > > > How are you having your amalgams removed? I went to a very > expensive " pro " > > who contaminated the heck out of me. > > > > -------Original Message------- > > >?Sorry to hear of your bad experience, the removal should not cost any more than regular dental work as they are doing nothing different aside from he extra protection. It always helps to do research before spending your hard earned money, though it seems alot of dentists take advantage of those who seem desperate for help. Personally i beleive there is no perfect dentist you will always find a flaw or something you don't like in any one you see,you just need to be careful, and get referrals and testemonials from individuals themselves. Guest guest
I have been demanding for a month. MY kitchen has been dismantled for a month due to their crappy installation. Then the countertop people do a crappy installation. Believe me, I called Lowe's corporate office and they just punt it back to the store. Lowe's manager is actually trying to find a dishwasher with slightly different dimensions. Won't work, they shorted it an inch or more, only an 18 " inch will fit now and why they think they can find a 24 " to fit, when all 24s are 24s, is beyond me. I could just go on and on. The standard here is crappy. In fact, I live in a very modest house with a kitchen better than people in houses 4 times my price. I guess no one questions anything. Believe me, I am complaining and not settling. Which leaves my kitchen dismantled! -- Re: Re: Adjusting to Hc DEMAND, . The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease. Guest guest
Oh, well, there is your problem right there. You used Lowe's installation service? You are not getting the " cream of the crop " in " installation experts " at all. They generally are either those that cannot make a business for themselves (due to their shoddy workmanship?), or those just starting out, learning, before trying to make it on their own. Nobody with any skill, expertise, or pride in workmanship is going to work for peanuts at Lowes installation dept. (Gosh, I'm really praying nobody here has a friend or relative that does this work for Lowes or Home Depot, lol!) Threaten them with the Better Business Bureau... Guest guest
What kind of timing adjustments are you referring to with Armour? I decided to skip the bedtime dose but maybe I should start it again. -- Re: Adjusting to Hc Posted by: " C. Mannelli, Ed.D. " : >Since I increased my Armour dose, I am having sleeping problems and wake up at 2:00 in the morning. Of course it could be the stress of spending thousands of dollars on a kitchen remodel and having people come in to install who cannot communicate with me due to language barriars and who trash the expensive items I have bought. >> OMG, that would kill me for sure! I also have been having a bad case of waking up at 2 or 3 a.m. and not being able to get back to sleep, and taking tons of stuff and waking up feeling bad. But, I am optimistic it will pass as my body adjusts to all the good things I am giving it. Have you tried adjusting the timing of your Armour? I can never believe how significant the timing turns out to be. A few days ago I was complaining about losing my appetite on the h.c., but when I moved the doses to meal times, instead of every 4 hours, voila! the problem cleared up and I am my old hungry self. Guest guest
I am taking 2 grains in the morning, a half grain at lunch, a half grain at dinner and sometimes a half a bedtime. I can never believe >how significant the timing turns out to be. Hi , What I mean by timing adjustments is for example taking armour doses 8 hours apart instead of 4 hours or 4 instead of 8 hours. I know some folks here take armour in 3 doses, some in 2 doses and some all at once. I just meant something like that. How do you take your Armour? And do you take your h.c. at the same time? Maybe Val would have some good advice for you on waking up in the wee.... Dahlia

Guest guest
I had this last night but it's strange because I've never had palps at night since starting armour. Last night I had just got into bed when it started and it was VERY bad. My heart felt like it was doing its normal beat followed by 3 fast beats, like boom, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM It went on for about 2 hours during which I dozed a little and then I woke up soaking wet with perspiration. Eventually got to sleep about 1.30 and when I woke up at 9am (VERY late for me) my heart was still doing this crazy thing. I never take my armour until I've had breakfast and brushed my teeth. In fact, I was wondering whether I should take any at all. Well, I decided to take 1 grain instead of my usual 2 grains. Within 15 minutes the palps had stopped! Now I'm wondering why? I had taken 1 grain just before I went to bed which is my normal dose then and the palps started and when I took 1 grain after breakfast they stopped. I took my pulse while I was eating breakfast and it was 108, by the time the armour had kicked in it was 82 Lynda Re: Re: Adjusting to Hc > I sometimes get this problem also and don't know why. > I have found that it sometimes helps to wait until the very last > minute > before popping the Armour and then hopefully I am asleep before the > Armour kicks > in, just in case of palps. > It is related to stress with me I am beginning to think. > > Mo
Guest guest
I have had HYPO palps! That is why it is a very unrliable symptom or determining if you are taking too much Armoru or not. Guest guest
I can understand that but I've had no stress whatsoever, not yesterday and not for the whole week. I'm wondering if it has to do with the h/c increase. OK Val, can you answer this? I increased to 30mg h/c at the end of November. It couldn't possibly have taken this long to use up all the extra thyroid floating around, could it? The only other thing I can think of is that yesterday afternoon I had an Irish coffee. I don't normally drink alcohol so perhaps this could have caused it but that was around 3pm and I didn't go to bed until 10.30pm, the palps only started once I was in bed. Today I've had hot sweats again and this could be alcohol related. Geez, one little measure of whisky, that's all!!
