Well, Robin, I know that you are having the same struggles as I. So I'm

glad to see you joining up for the challenge. Notice I'm not volunteering

to track any challenges, just that we need to challenge ourselves. I know

that I have gotten off to a fantastic start today and feel that I will be

able to finish the day with no problems. You said you have your act

together now, so let's just work on it together. Tomorrow will be another

challenge. We just have to live up to the challenge and as we have seen

before, the weight will come off.

As to your buying a new scale, well almost everyone who does finds it weighs

them heavier, so it's good that you were prepared for that possibility.

Personally, I think I want to go out and buy someone's old scale. LOL

Thanks, Kirstie! A successfully completed challenge, wow, what a feeling.

So what if it was one meal, it gives me incentive to go for the next one.

Oh, I also bought 2 liters of water while at the store to start off my water

challenge! Type, sip, type, sip, type, sip, sip, sip...

today is day 4 for me of being on track and feeling really good. (other

than

having a cold that won't quit =-P) It is usually about day 4 that I end

up

falling apart, IF I even make it that far, which hasn't been the case

lately.

So far, no cravings. I really feel like I can do it this time, but, like

you,

I think one day at a time is really the way to go.

As for my old scale, I would sell it to you but it is too good to me.

LOL.

I wish my new scale was as friendly.

Robin, I am envious, I can't make it to day 4 lately. What's the code for

sobbing out loud anyway, SOL has always meant something else. :-) I am on

day 1 and doing well though. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this...

Now, everyone take a big drink of water!

SK:

I found that if I cut the bars up inot 1/8 inch skices and freeze them

that when I get a sweet craving, 2 or 3 slices will curb that urge

before it gets out of hand. I only wish I had cut up all 7 bars before

I got out of hand.

Stick it out, it's going to be soooo great when the day comes we can

look at that mirror and stick out our tongues at the old image.

If I can make it through this day, I know you can do 4 days.

I'm really surprised I've made this far with the record I have

lately. It helps that my clothes were getting a little uncomfortable.

It's amazing how much of a difference 5-10 lbs can make in how

you feel in your clothes. I'm also somewhat motivated by the

new scale. I want to weigh 160 again. Because of my new

scale I am 10 lbs from that weight. Well actually it's my fault

but I can blame the scale, can't I? LOL.

We can do it. We can do it. We can do it!!!!

Just pretend day 4 is day 1 all over again :) Go for 3 days at a time,

make day 3, then start over with day 1. Just a thought!

over 1/2 of another one gone now. I guess it's time to figure out

what's for suppoer. Chicken wings?? Steamed broccoli?Sp far, so good.

Catch you later.
