Yes the recipe calls for tomato sauce. also you can soak the eggplant first

in a little salt , not much and it will help the taste when you make the

dish. I will find the recipe and post it on the list. Nan

I think a whole parcel of people should test their blood glucose. I detect

Hello Cy, Careful about talking about those California people. I was born

there and lived there till we moved to Washington D. co. in 1967. The best

part of living in the central valley of California was the wonderful nuts,

fruit and vegetables that we had to buy from. And resins galore. California

has the best green grapes ever. My husbands family were grapes farmers. The

only problem with the fruit in California was there high sugar content. But

it was natural sugar and therefore not so bad for a person than refined

sugar. Nan

Well, come on. I accidentally opened a package of fresh spinach since

someone (we won't say who) told me that the Broccoli was on the top shelf in

the fridge instead of in the vegetable crisper where I did find it.

We'll be using that spinach up in the next couple of days thanks to my goof

but it is Broccoli tonight!

Hi Becky, My husband loves a bowl fun of salad and then a can of tuna water

based of course and just a little olive oil and red vinegar. Makes a nice

Cy,

That sounds quite scrumptious, what are they? and how do you make them? as I

haven't heard of them in England.

Hi Becky, You will be surprised at what you will be able to eat after you go

to a detain. There are plenty of foods to eat. But you as we all do have to

adjust your diet to exclude crabs. The best way I think is to just count

crabs. That is how the detain taught us to do. You will benefit greatly from

going to a detain. I thought it was a great help. but I wanted to mention

something also. You have just been diagnosed. Don't try to take to much at

one time. Go slowly so that you are not overwhelmed as many new diabetic

are. Good luck and I will be praying for you. Nan

Hello:

I have a request. Can we please make the subject line pertinient to the

message. We have many messages lately with the subject line good evening.

It makes reading the important messages hard I like to read only messages

that I feel I can participate in or find benefit in reading. These subject

lines make me skip the messages when there is possibly relevant info inside.

It is just hard to read every message to find out what it is about.

Only request, no offence please

Thank you

You're spitting into the wind! I can't count the number of such appeals

on all the lists to which I am subscribed. Never works.

Relax; just read all the messages and sleep through the ones with dull

writing! (grin)
