Zephyr, It had something to do with calcium helping you loose. The leader I

got the information from is not in my part of the city until Thursday evening.

At that time I will try to go to the meeting and ask to see the article and try

to give you more information.

On Saturday, I had my first real let down. I was up one pound. I feel

awful. I know it is because I didn't keep my journal last week but I

honestly didn't think I ate anything to make me gain. In fact, I don't

think I was over my points on any day.

Well my resolve is over the top now... I just still feel down.

I know what you mean about let down! Just remember that even if you are let down one week the next one can have a suprise for you. I had this last week off but ended up fixing and totally redoing 8 computers for friends and family. Spending so much time sitting at the computers my feet and ankles swelled so much my toes looked like little Fat Sausages. I was realy good this last week, stayed within my points & drank my water. When it came time to WI on Friday I had gained 5.5 pounds..just looking at my feet & ankles you know where it was.....I refused to post my weight in to WW. (actually I have wanted to change my WI to Wednesday and thought this would be a good time to wait until Wed. to put it in)I was at my parents last night and my mom saw my feet and offered me a water pill (I had taken that kind years ago) I took it and after getting up all night I weighed myself this am. I was down 8.4#!!!! You can bet I will be asking for a new prescription to have on hand Friday when I see the Dr!I had to share this just to show what water retention can do!Lois

I know what you mean about let down! Just remember that even if you are let down one week the next one can have a suprise for you. Did you consider that maybe you didn't eat enough. Be sure to keep the

journal..for years I resisted and when I started writing things down I started

loosing better.

Janet,

I know how you are feeling, this has happened to me before and it can really get you down, Try to hang in there. You did the right thing by writing about it, it always helps me to vent my feelings in a healthy way rather than stuffing them down with food. Thanks for sharing your story, the next time this happens to me I will remember that it happened to you and you got through it. Thanks!!!!

I know how you are feeling, this has happened to me before and it can really get you down, Try to hang in there. You did the right thing by writing about it, it always helps me to vent my feelings in a healthy way rather than stuffing them down with food. Thanks - you know I still find it hard to believe you must eat enough.

For years I thought dieting meant starving.

You're right, I need to write it down. I started the week out on the

right track.

Diane,

That is fantastic news. I quit smoking 2 and one half weeks ago. You can do this!!!!! I replaced the smokes with walking and it has really helped to lift my mood. Feel free to e mail me directly for support. Together there is nothing we can't do.
