Nora,

Don't be sorry for anything. This is the place to vent. Venting is healthy.

Holding things in is not. Feel free to say whatever is on your mind if it

makes you feel better.

Sending ((((((HUGS)))))) your way,

L

Beth,

I highly recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility and using it as your guide

to achieve a pregnancy. Also, you mentioned your cycles had gotten more

irregular and your LP is shorter. Are you being seen by an RE? Taking clomid

days 5-9 could get your ovaries moving and lengthen your LP. Also an RE can

monitor you throughout the whole cycle and check the different hormonal

levels to see if they are all normal. It is possible that your miscarriage

was caused by the septum but it could have been a hormonal problem or

something wrong with the embryo. I have had several miscarriages due to

varying reasons.

I wish you lots of luck and babydust!

Hi ,

I understand that you wanted to have your septum " fixed " right away...I also

had a miscarriage in March of this year, and it was so hard...

I have a septate uterus too. I take it the hysteroscopy was to remove the

septum? I had a diagnostic hysteroscopy end of June and I noticed that my

last period was more intense - I usually only bleed for 3 days, but I bled

for 6 and it was extremely heavy. Also, although my temp. showed a

significant increase, I didn't notice the same type of ovulatory mucous that

I usually have. So perhaps the hysteroscopy, as it is invasive to the

uterus, causes a disruption for a (hopefully) short time.

I don't know about the septum removal, though - are you taking estrogen

supplements? (sometimes prescribed after septum removal, I understand) This

could affect your cycles.

There is an excellent book titled " What Your Doctor may Not Tell You About

Pre-Menopause " by Dr. Lee, and it considers alternative (nutritional)

approaches to the hormonal problems in the fertile years.

I also am waiting to have the septum in my uterus removed. Just don't know

when yet!

Take care,
