: I'll try this again. Have had trouble w/my

e;mail and getting stuff to the list hope this works.

Here's the info on the interactive pooh from toysrus.

I think you'd still have time to get it for Christmas

if you ordered it online.

I love her imaginings in her head, I do that all the time. I also

make up names for people like she does but I know hers is for

confidentiality. I just think she is hilarious, and am enjoying my

read, I will go back and highlight the things that will help me so

I dont need a Dr Nutcase...lol

I am Geoffrey Heaviside a paid up and registered

delegate at ICASA2005 and I have had no communications

from the registrations office since I forwarded my

money.

I have started my journey already via Singapore,

India, and Dubai reaching Lagos on Emirates Flight EK

0783 arriving Lagos 15:30 hrs on Thursday December

1st.

Since this is my first visit to Nigeria I note from

the map that Abuja is some distance away from Lagos

and I want to know what arrangements are in hand for

delegates arriving from international flights.

I rang a phone number provided on the web sites and it

seems the number has changed. I was given another

phone number which never answers.

If this email address works I would be pleased to get

some information to this email address because it is

the one I am using while I am travelling. It is not

the email address registered in my application.

I look forward to your early advice so I know what I

am to be doing and who will be meeting the flight.

Thank you

Geoffrey

Your in my

thoughts....Vonnieheatherbenjaminnicholas wrote: ---Vonnie,Get a pencil, write this down and stick it in your suitcase.....KimKramer, call operator on your house/hospital phone..ask for her..sheis the PR director for the hospital....she wants everyone happy!!!!SHe will get you a laptop, she got me one, all you need to do isask, and ask her, cause the nurses are far too busy and when Ifinally asked Kim, pronto done in less than an hour a tech guy wasin the room wiring me up!!! How cool is that!!!!Oh god, I was so hungry as of Tuesday....I could not eat anotherbowl of cream/strained soup...sorry, I did what was required, mostlyhave a functioning digestive system...told Nurses on the floor if Iwas not getting food that night, I was ordering a pizza or callingmy sister to bring me food and I will eat it!!!I was cravingprotein, meat or eggs, all I was asking for was a crummy hard

boiledegg!!! They told me NO!!! Well Rand happened to pop in that nightabout 8:00 and asked me if I was eating well....I almost assualtedhim..WHAT EATING....go ask the nurses about that...they told me thekitchen was closed and I could have a cracker!! I heard him outthere, sort of in a Rand way, explaing how they should have pagedhim....there was no reason for me not to eat and they were willingto starve me rather than call him.....amazingly a box lunch appearedfrom the "closed" kitchen with a turkey sandwich etc....oh, god Iwas never so happy to see a turkey sandwhich on white bread and anapple, cookie and milk!!! I had had no solid food since Thursdaynight at nine, and it was a few crackers and a piece of cheese...somy point..in my long drawn out way is....if you feel you are at thepoint of food and you are denied, have them page Rand, I wish I haddone that but I was taking matters into my own hands and called mysister

who brought me in 6 hard boiled eggs!!! Rand just happened toshow up ..I was not expecting him!!!!Vonnie, I would also suggest if you can, have somone stay with youon the night you come to the regular floor.....I did not at firstand was crazy that I could not always get a nurse when I neededone,,they are busy, I was not there only patient, they work hard...Ineeded to be moved, rolled, whatever every 30 minutes or so, I couldnot take the pressure of one position for very long. I had my sisterstay with me on Monday night, she rolled me all night, she got nosleep but was willing to do it, if it meant I would not have abreakdown before I left for Rehab....it might only be needed for 2nights until you get that arm strength needed to log rollyourself...just my situation, you may be ok, but plan for it and ifyou do not need it...great!! I also, did have a private room, youknow I am a bad patient, crying, moaning basically rather

unpleasantperson to be near....If you have a private room they will get you alittle bed for your helper...they told me if you were in a doublethey frown on a guest unless the other bed is empty but I stillthink you could do it, the nurses were much happier when my sisterwas here for the night....I would try anything for some reliefthoise few nights,,,,,One other thing that I did not like was one day, on the floor, I hada male CNA,certified nurses aide. That was ok, until he wanted togive me a sponge bath....no female around, my own male gynecologistwon't even examine me without a nurse in the room....I said nothanks, just give me a tooth brush, change my sheets and I will skipthe bath...sorry, I just felt real uncomfortable with a 30 year oldmale washing my butt etc....I think that is a terrible liablity forthe hospital....he was perfectly safe, I am sure, but I could besome crazy that said he assaulted me.,....was not

digging that parteither...my sister who is a nusre at Beth Isreal, down the roadhere, felt it strange too and called the nurse manager and told herno male CNA's for bathing, she said my sister will go smelly beforeshe allows that and she wanted me to wash up...i did , I brought abox of baby wipes, but she said it was not enough...Those were a few concerns but every thing else has been great...foodis decent, I am not very fussy, just when I am hungry it better beavailable!! You just take your menu look it over, call 4555 andplace your order, most time food is here within 30 minutes sometimesshorter...and if you do not order..like I was not hungry for lunchtoday, they called me and asked me if I wanted lunch...thye cancomputer track what you and if you have eaten!! You get one of thoselittle receipt things like when you go thur Mc's, that tellwhat you ordered and the dietician comes and speaks to you and sheknows what

you have been eating or not!!!I am sorry for anyone who is bored with my long posts...just skipover them...I , like Vonnie wanted to pick the hell out Cam'sbrain.I wanted every little detail..even the non surgical ones!!Iwant Vonnie to come here as prepared as I was, and know what I foundto work and not work..even down to the food......Vonnie, definite silk PJ's , man what a difference inslidability...that has been a lifesaver!!!
