Guest guest
Lynn ~ God Bless you ! ! Doctors are like hemrrhoids, a pain where the sun doesnt shine....... Girl, America sure has produced a big bunch of ignoramus's for physicians. Instead of evolution creating smarter, healthier, and wiser individuals, because of all the greed and deceit, the evolution of man is going in a downward spiral. Kinda scarey..........time to get a grip......Women rule and always have, guess it is time to take our bra's off again, just like in the 60's . That means getting rid of all these heavy fake boobs ! ! Love ya girl ~ I have decided wholistic/naturopath is the way to go. I just need to find one now. Guest guest
Geeze, my first and last visit with the pulmonary specialist was just shy of 600 bucks..........totally pathetic, he was the one that lectured me on the safety of silicone implants and the lawyers and womens ploy to get some easy money. I got a bill for the balance of what medicare didnt pay yesterday. Now I have to do something about it. This man should not have been paid a dime ! The drug he gave me was one that would harm me. I would say that he purposely gave me a drug that could potentially kill me. This is suposed to be against the law..............Ok, I am obsessing, it has to stop......sorry......... where should I start? Write the doctor or the medical society first? Guest guest
And that will be $120! . . . NEXT! Went to doctor... I just don't know why I even bother!! I truly believe my doctors feel this is all in my head. All he would run was a urine sample. Said everything was normal. He said the results showed my kidneys and adrenal glands were working fine! I asked if he was going to run blood work, he said no that I should be fine for surgery on Friday. Right now my lower back is still aching and my hand is still cramping. He said it is most likely my auto-immune issues and that if I don't feel better after surgery he will recommend a rheumatologist. Guest guest
Yep, that is about right. I would avoid a rheumatologist, as you will likely be given meds that are highly toxic and make your system worse. Guest guest
I am not sure how long the visit was. He also went on and on about stachybotrys and homeowners insurance and attorneys and about how stachybotrys dosent cause any known human illness and it too was a ploy for money. Then he gave me that drug that you dont give someone with heart disease, I did not even have any wheeze or cold or anything. My pulmonary function test even said there was no emphysema, that drug was a long term bronchodialator which would spin a heart out of control that has V-Tach, and I do. I was sent there to be checked for sarcoidosis. My chest xray I took with me, and it was clear, my ct was clear and my lungs were clear, I already knew that. I didnt need a lecture about implants and their safety and how silicone is inert, and I certainly am not gonna pay for a lecture on fake boobs, and their safety ! ! , nor pay for a drug that could kill me. He was totally inappropriate. He didnt discuss me at all. He must own stock in the company that makes spiriva. My father was blown away by that docs behavior, as he was with me. Sick, sick, sick........He owes me for my time. Hugs ~ DSee what's free at AOL.com.

Guest guest
Katy ~ God Bless you and God Bless your kitty ! You were tricked into unnecessary surgery and fees. This is absurd, I would write out a bill for guinnea pig services totalling $5,000.00. Hand it to the receptionist upon getting your cat. Geeze, I am sorry for your experience, that is just flat steeling and this vet purposely injured your kitten. God Bless you and your kitty ! ! ! Love DSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
I know, it is totally rediculous and the laws protect the perps and not the victoms..........doctors can legally injure people, I call it legal homaside.......sad, but true ! ! You would think there would be doctors all over seeing how down the tubes most physicians are these days and rise above and do the right thing and treat people like humans and use real medicine when needed in conjunction with natural means and prayer. Guest guest
Exactly!! Well if God forbid something happens to me during surgery, I will be requesting my records for last four months which will show my several attempts to tell them something is wrong and then fact they did NOTHING - I'll sue their butts! Guest guest
Do you think an endocrinologist would be better. I hope the ANA issues resolve after surgery but right now they are so bad. I can feel the inflammation as it attacks each organ (thyroid, now kidneys, joints, muscles). Guest guest
$600!! How long was the visit? It seems to me they overcharge insured's on Medicare due to the fact Medicare only pays at a certain rate. It just isn't fair DeDe!! I would contact that facility to voice my concerns... I don't know what good it would do but it is worth a try. I was referred to a gastroenterologist a few years ago due to my bowel issues. He walked in to the room, I told him the issues I was having - he said that I should consult a surgeon and walked out. He did not exam me in any way, shape or form!!! I don't even think he shook my hand. So I waited for who knows how long to see him (weeks on top of the time I sat in the waiting room) and he was finished with me in about 3 minutes flat, and charged about $90. I am angry for you. This needs to stop. The doctors, pharmaceutical companies and the FDA seem to be getting to get together to keep us sick. This is so discouraging. Guest guest
Dede. . . I think there's a state medical organization . . . reponsible for liscensing, etc. . . You'll need to do some checking on this . . . But I'd contact them. . . It is pathetic! . . . "Let's see, if this kills her, I can send the bill to her estate. Now, where did I put my Nine-iron?" I did see a quote from a doctor - plastic surgeon, if I remembe right, who admitted to there being a lot of doctor-bashing going on. . . . I wonder why? The laws have all but eliminated liablity law suits . . . What have they got to worry about? . . . "Now which one of the b****** should I see tonight?" Guest guest
HI Ladies, I had a really bad experience today too with a doctor... although it was a veterinarian. My cat was listless and weak and seemed to be very sick, so I took her into a vet near my house this morning. I was worried it could've had something to do with the recent contaminated food/kidney failure. I had not been to this vet before, since I just moved to Toronto a few months ago. I rushed her in and they did blood work, an exam, urinalysis and an x-ray. Every test came back normal except the x-ray, which showed something foreign in her stomach. The vet talked me into putting her on IV overnight because she was dehydrated. I wanted to wait to see if she would pass the object, but he told me it might get lodged and urged me to consider surgery. I asked him to do a endoscopy first and see if it could be removed that way before he went in and opened her up. The endoscopy was going to cost $225.. After I left he called me to tell me that upon further examination of the x-rays he thought the endoscopy would be a waste of time, so he proceeded with surgery. After the surgery he called me to tell me that he found NOTHING and that the surgery was exploratory. I DID NOT WANT her to have surgery that wasn't completely neccessary in the first place! There is still no diagnosis for my cat and the bill so far is $2100!!!!!!!!! I feel like I have been ripped off and violated. I now have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to pick up my cat and then I can take her for a 2nd opinon on Fri. So basically, I have put my poor sick cat through hell, I am over $2000 in the hole and have no diagnosis to speak of!! She has now had major surgery and is STILL sick!! This reminds me alot of my own experience with these implants... I think its awful that we trust these Dr.s to take care of us and those we love and they can take advantage of us for money. Thanks for listening. I have been so distraught all day about this, it is literally making me feel sick inside. Katy:) spinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: $600!! How long was the visit?
