Would whole celery used in a smoothie have the same effect?

What is the source for your statement relative to what Hulda

states about " high cholesterol " ?

I question the validity of your statement, based on what she states

in her latest two books,

The Prevention of All Cancers, and The Cure and Prevention of All

Cancers.

In Dr. 's two latest books, she states that her working range

for cholesterol from blood tests,

is 200 to 250. Then, in the Blood Test Flow Sheet: Spotting Your

Problem From Your Blood Test,

in The Cure and Prevention .... book, she states:

If cholesterol is less than 150, eat butter, cream, do liver

cleanses, parasite program.

(Note: I think the value 150 may be a " typo " , and should be 200,

since she uses

the lower and upper end of the working range in all of the other flow

sheet

recommendations - RJR)

If cholesterol is greater than 250, do liver cleanses every 2 weeks,

take milk thistle

seed. Search for thallium. Kill parasites.

You could try it, although ice is contraindicated in chinese medicine

(which is my modality.)

I'd try a juicer. AND GET ORGANIC.

What Dr. says about Cholesterol is it should be 200 plus your age.

However, remember, I am sure she means that must be in conjunction

with eating according to her chemical free protocol and other things she

says to do about eating.... In other words you can't go get the cholesterol

count from the wrong sources, such as eating lbs and lbs of processed chocolate

fudge or whatever lol

it must be from natural ingredients, etc I automatically assumed.

I realize I cannot take statins for my high cholesterol...but, is there

something that anyone is taking that has lowered their cholesterol? Please

advise. Thank you.

I also have high cholesterol. I was unable to take lipitor or crestor because of

muscle pains. I am able to take, however, 20 mg.a day of lovastatin. I think

lovastatin is not as strong as the other statins, yet it still brings down my

cholesterol.

Well thanks to all for the cholesterol talk. I have been trying to mend a bad

SI and low back issue. Finally after 4 plus years of rehab and PT - I maybe

close to mild exercise? Who knows but this last year as I turned 47 yrs old my

recent weight gain of 30lbs has caught up to my cholesterol(240). When combined

with low or no activity not good. So I have started high fiber and healthy

eating as I try to move more. One of my best friends stop taking his statins a

few years ago(no CMT)- is fit and trim and at 48

yrs old had 5 bypass open heart. So ... I have heard Dr. C.B. Esselstyn, Jr.,

M.D. ('Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease', www.heartattackproof.com is the

bible. I will be ordering my copy. Thanks all.

Hi ,

I just saw an article on Trilpix....has it worked for you?  Does Pravastatin

work?  I was on a statin but when they ran my lab on my CK, it showed that it

had elevated twice the amount it was before taking the statin (I believe CK

measures muscle wasting)....Please advise.  Thanks.

It's been a while since I gave any input, but I think I'll chime in on this one

and give my personal experience.

My father found that he had high cholesterol about 15 years ago and he swore by

his Lipitor. My father was alway a strong willed man and never let CMT effect

what he believed he could do. He always tried extra hard to show how " normal " he

was in his youth. Later he had problems, but strove to stay upright, even if it

meant to use crutches. The chair was not an option to him.

However, after he began tkaking Lipitor religeously, something changed. Until

the last couple of years, I didn't know anything about the effects of statins on

CMT, but I watched my father begin to deteriorate fast. In the last 5 years of

his life, he became frail, muscle was almost gone and he found it hard to

swallow.

Personally (and these are entirely my own thouts) now that I've heard about

statins & CMT and I saw what happened to my father and how fast he went from ok

to terrible. I will not take statins of any kind. I too have high cholesterol

now. Honestly, I'd rather die of a quick heart attack than the way my father

went.

Hard to swallow .yes my dad also.I cry when I think of what the docs and meds

did you my dad and me! How can people do this to others....you can also suffer

effects from other things too.like too much vit B6.

The very same thing happened to my dad.he could hardly feed himself. His

shoulders were so bad and was also in a w.chair. I thought it was his CMT.Then

it stared happening to me!My shoulders .I couldn't come my hair, pull my pants

up, I was in so much pain.I also thought it was CMT. Then I looked into a drug

into the side effects of Lipitor and other statin drugs.I can now have full use

of my shoulders.

We have to be so very careful if we don't stand up for ourselves who is going

too. Still trying to find a doc that cares!

my sister who does NOT have CMT may have had the same thing happen to her from

the Lipitor. She completely lost her balance and unable to walk very quickly

(within 6 months) after starting lipitor.
