There an association for the self employed that offers group insurance. I'll try

to find some info on it and post it for you.

Since diabetes runs in our families so much, I have been constantly

warning my children to be careful. Last night I took our oldest boys

reading. He's 32. It gave no number-just HI so it was over 400. I

took it tonight and it was 384. He claims all he ate today was a

salad. I told him he has to see a Dr. And to start eating the right

food in smaller portions than what he is used to. He has to cut the

carbs. He is a big bread person and loves pasta. I don't make any

pasta here because that raises my BG too much. The problem for him

is he is considered self employed and has no insurance. This disease

is expensive. I told him to start looking around for insurance.

There has to be something out there that is affordable.

I was tempted to give him some of my meds but then I would be in

trouble by not having enough to see me through. I told him to start

exercising more. He said he does walk on his job.

At any rate he has to get this under control and get insurance so he

can receive the proper care before it gets totally out of control.

I am goint out in the yard and play around in the flower beds!! It

is sunny and warm. I planted more yesterday and am really enjoying

getting into the dirt!!!

raving about it so I bought some...Dannon La creme incredibly creamy!

There are 20 carbs in 4 oz so I ate about 1/4 of it. Hard to put

down though!!!

---thankfully I did have a good day!!! What a difference carbs can

make or rather restricted carbs make!!! Couldn't have done this well

without all the help I have had though!!! Now I have to plan for

tomorrow!!!

I am not sure about the interest rates - I doubt they would go up. My wife

works for a local bank and she said that people are taking out money left

and right. Much more so than when the Y2K scare was occurring.

I have just received word that the funding for mortgages scheduled to

close in the next two days are on hold. FÓÅ and other banks are not

releasing any funds.

This is particularly scary for people who already have the moving

vans loaded and the utilities scheduled for shut off and ready to

close on the next house and move. What will happen if the feds

decide to raise interest to keep a handle on funding?

don't know about everyone else but I have been having a pretty bad flare this

week. Haven't spent much time on my computer at all. mostly looking for a place

Hey....man.. .it's quite around here isn't it?

Fox News responded to the pain thing. They had an addict expert that

differentiated the addiction and folks like us. Man...they got an earful from

painers. The American Pain Foundation sent me a letter saying it was a pretty

good success. At least they heard. It always helps to keep media people up on

things and any reason to raise a voice or two is great.

hi brena sounds like you need a new doc to be cut off that is torcher i hope the

withdraws dont get you to bad all of us painer that take narcotics dayly cant be

cut off like that your doc dose not care about you to us painers need a pain

management doc thay are the only docs that will give you the pain pills you need

if your doc was not a pain management doc you shgould have been seeing one

enyway reguler doc can only give you pain pills for a short time thay are afraed

the d.e.a will get them in trubal enybody that has a pain problem needs to go to

pain management that is were you belong that way you dont have to be wereyed

about being cut off your pain pill brenda i would talk to your doc and ask hem

to refer you to a pain management doc ask hem to give you enuff pain pill to get
