I called the flip the " doing the and Roy " Even though

the show is 27 years old I find them doing stuff that we still don't and a lot

of stuff we do that they never imagined.

Unfortunately, my cable system doesn't carry TV Land yet...

Emergency piqued my interest in pre-hospital care. I was already a volunteer firefighter, and it just seemed to be the logical progression.

How many people on this list have perfected their " ny Gage Flip " when preparing pre-loaded syringes for use?

How many of you remember the series " Emergency " ? Well it is back on the air, Nick at Night's TV-Land has started reairing the show at 1 pm cst.

A thought! how many of you were influenced into joining the ems or fire service by the show?

I think Gage And Roy Desoto helped play A large part on pursuing my own

role in the Emergency Medical System, I

must admit they were my idols as childish as Its sounds, And I'm glad they live

on re-runs or not.

regarding the show Emergency it was a show about the life of EMS

people and it was very good show if you ever get the chance to get to watch it

you should it is great!

Easley I don't remember the show Emergency, but I did want to comment on your letter on 01-01-99. I think what you said was well put.(Re: EMT pay :Rant #2 ) I like being a EMT-P although I'm knew at it , I would like to see the pay scale go up .

It's required watching especially for the young bucks (and does). I call it

in service training. We don't need all of the fancy bells and whistles. You

just need Lactated Ringers and countershock at 400 watt sec. and MS.

Doug, are they starting at Episode 1, or is this random repeats?

Well, since a show from my time (CHIP's) has made a reunion movie, is it

possible for a '90s version of ny & Roy to appear in an Emergency movie?

Or did they do one already?

I am feeling old already...(they already have made reuinon movies from these

shows I grew up on: Dukes of Hazzard, Simon & Simon, CHIP's, Hunter, Knight

Rider....and a few more)....... Can't believe it has been 20 years since

CHIP's debuted!!! Woha, how time flies.....

yep you are correct!!! bicarb was to be given if down time greater than 10min, which lead to just about all getting it due to average time from call to on location. and it was q 5-10 thereafter, what about CaCl? if nothing else worked after about 10-15 min why not?

it was very accurate, i even had one of the orange biophones at one time and

an old ampeg? boat anchor defib with removable oscilloscope--anyone else

remember those?
