you're really eating. Have you tried getting more protein? Protein is the most satisfying thing you can eat for hunger. Also, combining protein with a complex carb (whole grains, fruits, veggies) is a super satisfying combination!

Like I was telling Donna, I eat all day long and it doesn't matter what I have I'm still hungry.

Then my next suggestion is eat more. Seriously. You do some very heavy duty workouts, it sounds like your body is demanding more fuel, feed it. You will NOT gain weight if you're eating healthy foods and only to satisfaction not past that. There's no reason to walk around hungry; that's depriving your body of fuel and probably making you less energetic, productive and possibly affecting your mood too (which can also trigger eating binges). EAT! :-)

I agree - you need to feed those muscles of yours with protein, and it will also help you feel full.  For me tonite - breakfast for dinner - 2 whole eggs and 2 pieces of turkey bacon.  MMM!\

Thanks , but I do eat. I eat all day long. I don't eat anything after we eat supper though unless it's hot chocolate or my lovely Cappuccino's. I have a good breakfast then I have a small snack. I have lunch around 11 and then I snack some more until dinner. I guess maybe my snacks aren't a lot. I usually have a wasa cracker with turkey, raw veggies with olive oil and that's about it for lunch. My snacks are dry cereal, Greek yogurt, apples. But all of this is measured and the fruit is weighed so maybe it's just not enough, but I truly think I could eat this house and I'd still be hungry lol.

Your snacks sound like really good mixtures of proteins, complex carbs & healty fats (the olive oil). Measured & weighed is fantastic too. Maybe try a bit more? I can't stand being really physically hungry, it makes me so distracted. (Sidebar: Writing that sounds so awful. So many people are literally starving or just wondering where their next meal will come from... I am reminded that despite any concerns I have, I am beyond blessed.) Anyway, wish I had more ideas for you, ! As long as you're not miserable, I guess it works!

Since I don't have much of an appetite it's been easy for me to eat healthy small servings...I even have to make sure I'm getting enough food HA, how often does that happen. Anyway, I've been using My Fitness Pal to count calories and to input any exercise I do. It's cool because it shows how much you will way in 5 weeks if you continue to eat like you did today. Any plan that eliminates a whole group of food is STUPID! Jen

so .. I really use to love carbs but lately realized I have only been eating some quinoa or maybe a flat out in a week.. just didn't have in house... I do eat veggies like crazy..but for some reason I love nuts..or cheese... maybe because I am a little both.. nutty and cheesey

I'd starve to death because i wouldn't know what to eat. There are carbs in EVERYTHING.

I don't think carbs make anyone fat, I think its the number of calories you eat in a day versus how many you burn. Your body and brain need carbs! Jen

Portion sizes in ALL restaurants are out of control...they give you more than enough calories for the whole day! JenSubject: Re: / carb intakeTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, October 10, 2011, 12:53 PM

No kidding :( the 1/2 cup brown rice and 1/2 cup yams are my favorite part of the Diet, but alas that's all you get :( most Asian restaurants give you 2 cups of white rice with your meal. The good news is, veggies are carbs too but you can have as much as you want because the energy it takes to digest them makes the total calorie count next to nothing in many cases (as I grab a carrot stick)

I like yogurt with ground flax seeds or low fat cottage cheese with applesauce for a snack. Jen

That is good news. I journal all my food and I never count my veggies. I do my fruit though. It seems like fruit (certain ones) have more calories, especially the ones I eat almost everyday. I still wonder if I should count my fruit since my body NEEDS it.

, do you drink enough water? JenSubject: Re: / carb intakeTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, October 10, 2011, 6:11 PM

EAT! :-)
