, I very much agree with you! Nola has come so far, and has done

so much so well. But, it seems that she is stuck in this vicious cycle, and

somehow it needs to be broken. Something must be holding her back, or she needs

to release it, to overcome this final step to improvement. (at least that is my

opinion) Thanks for sharing! You sound like a very kind and wise person!

I hadn't thought of the Mormon church. I am not Mormon, but had a dear

friend who was and they helped her a lot in some very hard times. That

is a great suggestion!

Yes I have definitely exhausted all my avenues here. That is one of the

reasons I wanted to move to Texas so bad LOL But, they tell me I don't make

enough money at this point to get help and because I don't have any little

children at home they basically tell you no. They will help out one time in

a two year period with emergency assistance and I have used that already.

There just isn't much help left, but I am sure everything will work out one

way or another. I at least have my car to stay in LOL Nola

Have you tried to get any gov't assistance at all for living or food? I

hated having to do it when my ex left, but there came a point it I had

no choice. I don't know all the requirements, but we were able to get

food stamps and insurance. It seems like you should be able to get

emergency assistance which is what I did at least for a few things.

ine, girl you are truly amazing today! My hat goes off to

you! I can remember a time not too long ago when you were needing more help

and comfort. And now, here you are giving so much back to another. Makes

me almost cry. Thank You!

Joyce Meyers is a good one to listen to, haven't heard of the

other one though. Sounds like you have a very good therapist who is helping

Alot of things I find unless to talk about but I will listen to a tape or

read a book that will deal with the issues otherwise I believe it eats at

I really have to agree with you here. Nola is such a helping person - I owe

my sanity to her!!! I remember some very late nights on up into the early

morning that Nola wrote, chatted, encouraged, gave me ideas, made me think, made

me take some kind of action - anything to get me moving and LIVING again.

She's definately stuck though and there's a way out!!

Nola - I'm so glad you wrote the group with whats going on in your life right

now. I know that was hard, but maybe someone here really can help you, even

though you think you've tried everything. A fresh perspective never hurts!!

ine - you're reaching out to help Nola has really touched my heart. I

think I read in another email where you had said something like " I've been

helped, let's concentrate on you Nola " I got tears in my eyes when I read

that!!

Gosh, this is what Life is all about and I am so strengthened by it.
