Guest guest
Excuse me - I know I don't do Portuguese, but I am confused by your query and Owen's answer. Is the query regarding 'clínico-existenciais' or 'clínico-existencial' [as Owen has put]. I keep coming across 'existential' = 'existenciais'. Certainly there are references to 'existential therapy' in psychiatry. What exactly are these subgroups for? and could more context be given please? Not that I can help necessarily, but it may give more of a clue to others. Many thanks for further clarification. Guest guest
It would appear from searching the Internet and finding this page: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en & as_qdr=all & q=cl%C3%ADnico-existencial & btnG=\ Search & meta=lr%3Dlang_pt that Angerami-Camon Valdemar Augusto is an exponent of this 'clínico-existencial' methodology in psychiatry. The therapy seems to involve the staff being fully aware of the patient's condition [this is a bit vague, I know]. However, the only English language reference I found (poor translation) was at www.voices.no. If you do an advanced google search in English with 'Angerami+Camon+Valdemar+Augusto+existential+theory+, you may find some more information, which I hope helps you to find what you need.
