Thanks soo much for caring! ) , It sounds like you have a good goal of trying for 2 advanced days and 2 basic days....don't be afraid to do 3 basic and 1 advanced if you are feeling tired! It's really important to listen to your body and realize when you need a break! I read somewhere that every couple of months you should take a total break...do nothing for a week...to let your body recover completely. I keep saying I'm going to do this and I never get around to it...LOL! Anyway, I'm glad that you do your weight training on the days you do your basic workouts...that's what I do and I really like it. Hang in there...you can lose the weight you want to lose and build lots of muscle in the process. Just start off slowly and don't get down on yourself for working out 3-4 times a week....you will see results from that schedule, especially if you are also doing weights! Motivation will come and go many times during > your journey. It is normal and you are doing great!! Yeah, remember....more is not neccesarily better! And remember, this is a lifelong thing, so there are going to be weeks when you can't work out as much as you would like to....but that's ok! Play around with it....and find out what works best for you! who thinks has such a great attitude and is grateful that she shares her wisdom with us
Guest guest
Same here! I hate the squish!! Plus, I have a 3 year old, and I think my body was still in shock from the first pregnancy (I gained over 40 lbs. Ouch!) and I was very saggy from that. Needless to say another pregnancy 1 year later and I feel like my abs are doomed. I hope it does go away! It's very discouraging! Cari -----Original Message-----From: Honeybear3899@... I loved her book and have enjoyed her daily email...she bases her success around Make the Connection, but what she talks about is really applicable to any new healthy lifesyle (or trying to attain one)... Hope that helps! ~Kat, who is still catching up and has had to dlete emails just to get through it all
