Interferon Tx depletes the Seretonin in our brains so you 'may' need to take an antidepressant or up the dose if you are already on one,, I was and we upped my dose and it worked great for me,, my depression did not get worse from tx.. I suffer from depression so that is why they are waiting for the letter. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Jackie

Everyone's reaction is different. I have heard stories of some that

have zero or little side effects. My husband was not one of those. His

side effects have rollercoastered throughout the entire tx. Not

physical pain but emotional turmoil and skin irritations. Sides are

severe, but they eventually go away and he gets a reprieve. In his

case, I don't think he could have gone through it without me being his

fulltime caregiver. But, with that said, he is at the end now! There

is a light at the end of the tunnel. He just took his final injection

Friday, and in 4 days will see his dr and stop taking his riba and

other meds.

It has been a very hard year, but knowing he has cleared the virus, it

was worth it. Now we can begin to get our life back!

Im so glad he is done and I personally want to thank you for being there for him,, I know that I couldnt have done it without my husband who was my caregiver,, your role is sooo important and can be the difference between making it through tx and quitting.. hugs, jax Caryl Fortner-Howitt-Dougherty wrote: Everyone's reaction is different.
