" Have you ever considered the possibility that some of them actually

*like* their jobs and enjoy sex and being sexual? Not everybody is a

prude, you know. "

Are you implying that I am a prude, because if you are, I assure you I

am not. My point is merely that a good deal of women seem to hate being

denegrated but are indifferent to what their sex-industry counterparts

are doing.

I'm one who feels that if a child shouldn't be allowed to do something, than neither should an adult; and it's unfair to the child. Children aren't allowed to smoke or drink alcohol, and adults shouldn't be doing that either. Children aren't allowed to look at porn material and engage in intercourse, and I don't feel that adults should either. I think they should look into human cloning instead and reproduce that way. God bless, Irelan

Why do you think that adults should not engage in intercourse?

Why do you think that adults should not engage in intercourse?Because children shouldn't, and it doesn't seem fair. But that's me. God bless, Irelan

Raven asked: " Why do you think that adults should not engage in

intercourse? "

answered: " Because children shouldn't, and it doesn't seem

fair ... <snip> ... "

I don't understand your reasoning, .

Children shouldn't have to earn a living in order to have their needs

met (a proper place to live, food in their bellies, clothes on their

backs, shoes on their feet, etc.).

Adults, however, SHOULD have to earn a living in order to provide for

themselves and any children that may be their responsibility to care

for.

Just because a child ought not do something does not mean that an

adult would benefit from this same rule of 'ought not.'

So I ask again, what are your reasons for saying that adults should

not engage in sexual intercourse?

I think there was also a week long miniseries on the Sci Fi Channel not too long ago called The Tin Man or something. I saw it advertised on television even though we're not capable of getting the Sci Fi Channel because we don't have cable or satellite. Does anyone know if that'll be available on video? They should air all The Wizard of Oz sequels as often as they aired The Wizard of Oz. Were there any tornadoes in Return to Oz or that miniseries that was on the Sci Fi Channel? Was Dorothy in the miniseries? The strange thing about The Wizard of Oz is that it is possible to wind up in a place with a yellow brick road because of a tornado like Dorothy did. The streets in Heaven are paved with gold, so there's your yellow brick road; but that would be a painful way to get there. Plus I doubt that a person would be able to return to their homeland like Dorothy did. They should also air those other two

Wizard of Oz movies a lot that came out before The Wizard of Oz with Frances Gumm. God bless, Irelan

What about the person who started the Wicked thread? I think the name was Kim or something. Does she know of any Oz books by other authors that would be appropriate for all ages? I read the introductions to the Oz books I've read and I read how L. Baum would love to hear from his readers. I'd love to send him an e-mail if he was still alive and give him feedback; but since he hasn't been alive for several decades, that's a little difficult. All my questions about Oz books and movies aren't just directed to you. They're directed to the whole group, so everyone's free to butt in. I'd like to read an Oz novel that's written by someone who's still alive and see if they want to hear feedback from their readers. God bless, Irelan

Sorry but I do not. Like I said before, I am not a huge fan of the

Wizard of Oz and the only other Oz related thing I've read or seen

besides Wicked is the movie redition, The Dark Side of Oz. It was just

the Wizard of Oz movie set to the music of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the

Moon. Use the wonderful power of the internet and keep searching.

I guess I'll have to do that. I'll have to google and see if there's a forum for Oz books. I was in a Wal-Mart today, and I saw that Wicked book for a little over $10. I would've loved to have gotten it and read it if the writer knew how to write a book without having sex crap in it. It looked pretty good. It was The Wizard of Oz from the Wicked Witch of the West's point of view. I wish there was a way I could get an edited copy of it. I noticed there were several other books by Maguire including Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, Lost, Mirror Mirror, and Son of a Witch. Is anyone here familiar with any of those books and can tell me how many of them are Oz books and if they're clean or not?God bless, Irelan

I noticed today that there's a musical based on Wicked. Is that musical available on video? Maybe I can just get the video if it is and watch it instead of reading the book. If it is available on video, does the video have that sex scene in it?God bless, Irelan
