n, as a Psychologist, you know that many people have no idea what's going

on around them. I have noticed over the years that people don't look past the

end of the message. Maybe we should post a message once a day saying " Look on

the bottom of this page! "

Why do they sign up in the first place? They don't get put on the list,

they have to say yes or subscribe!

I tend to image they are like my mother--utterly clueless about the internet,

barely able to send and receive emails, but they (unlike Mother) have found

themselves in internetland and are as lost as lost can be. They don't have a

clue how they got subscribed much less figure out how to unsubscribe. They are

just happily going from website to website and clicking on buttons with no

concept of what those buttons are for....they need someone to come along, take

them by the hand and lead them back to Kansas.

I've clicked on unsubscribe about 5 times but I keep getting 100's of emails.

Try to change your settings to no e-mail. That may work. At least you will no

longer get all these messages!!! ( but will be able to search for sprout info )

There are more then just a few every day! It is the most active group I have

joined!

Hi Joy,

When you click on the unsubscribe button an email window opens up to

sproutpeople-unsubscribe , subject: unsubscribe; from: " your

email address. " Don't write anything in the message because nobody is going to

read it. Just send it and the yahoo robot will remove you from the group. It

might not happen immediately, but it should happen.

Seriously!! Terror indeed! An inconvenience perhaps, or an online intrusion,

For some reason, this creates funny visuals in my mind, LOL! Other than that

observation, I suspect you're right, or as ew stated, people just don't pay much

attention to what's going on around them. I suspect (to put this back on topic,

LOL) that our eating healthy fare every day (plus getting our Omega 3's) sets

our brain on rapid fire so we are quite aware of our environment and are always

parsing additional information in order to further avail ourselves of a healthy

lifestyle!! (wow, that even sounds like a highbrow statement, LOL - might be

time to write my novel!!!)

LOL, n!! No worries about paranoia - I think it's just an exodus of those

who prefer not to be as pleasantly inundated with good food news as the rest of
