Guest guest
Hello and welcome! My Daughter, , received her band through Hanger when she was 7 mo, 1 week. She will be 8 Months old on Saturday and has already seen great correction in just 3 weeks! AMAZING! I'm sorry that you are having to fight with your Insurance about coverage for the DOC. Many people on here have fought with their Insurance and ended up getting their bands covered. I'm sure they can offer advice to you. We were lucky that 's band was covered by Insurance. Good luck with everything! Does your Daughter already haev her band? Do you have any pics you could post of her? When you say she has flatness in two quadrants, do you mean she is flat on both sides? You should definitely stop in at chat tonight. You can ask tons of questions and get stories of other mom's experiences. Chat is at 10:00 Eastern time. Hope to see you there. Guest guest
, It was nice chatting with you as well. From what I understand Rylee has a mild case and the specialist said it was very subtle. He wanted to do a head scan. From what I understand this is a set of cameras that sit on a track. Rylee will sit in the middle and they cameras will take pictures so that we can have a picture of the shape of her skull. I was under the impression this is what is done when ordering a helmet. I was told that at this time he did not feel a helmet was going to be needed but wanted to do this scan to make sure. TaraLynn Mother to and Rylee > > > Hello everyone. My name is TaraLynn. Guest guest
I've dug most of the stuff out of the ground and put cow and chicken manure in those places. But, there is still some in the ground out where the cow's live, but it's the area I just have the cow stuff piled up when I have the guy come in with the tractor in the spring to clean up from the winter. I would need to hire someone with a back hoe to come in, dig deep and pull all that stuff out and I just don't have the money for that or the dump runs. I would have to pay them to haul it since I don't have a truck.....just a van. The posts seem lengthy here and because I'm not in with the WAPF, I don't know what I could add to the discussions, but I'll hang around a bit and see what cooks. K.C. Guest guest
Thanks . I don't know how many are in your family, but with just two chickens you will have (when they are laying) 14 eggs a week during spring and summer. If you get McMurray's all natural Avia Charge 2000, you will even have eggs in the winter. Start with the Sex Links. They lay better then any other chicken, are hardy and sweet. You don't need a rooster unless you want more chickens down the road. Growing isn't easy and I wish you all the best with your endeavors. Don't know if you are aware of it, but you don't have to blanch every single veggie that you freeze. And if it's available, try the lavendar eggplant. They are small, sweet and to die for when put on the grill. Nice little, compact plants and if you are making your own cheese, are great as eggplant parmesan. Take care, K.C. Guest guest
Mel, Welcome to RA Support. Getting right down to the facts, with RA there are periods of time where you feel better and then yes there are flares when the pain is worse. My father was just recently diagnosed with RA and I have been reading up on it quite a bit. RA is not always easily diagnosed as there is no one specific test for it. Though RA alone does not run in families the gene that makes you pre- disposed to getting it can. Sometimes as a result of an injury or trauma RA can become active. There are many sites to visit to learn about RA. One that I found especially helpful was to visit the National Arthritis Foundation website. I have been having problems with my elbows, wrists, hands, knees and ankles but was just recently told that though they suspected RA they now don't believe that it is. You are not too young to have this condition the average onset in in your 20's but even children can develop arthritis. Though there is no cure to this disease, the earlier they catch it and treat it the better. Guest guest
Hi , welcome to our site! It is great that you have such a supportive bf. And as for making mistakes...we all do! That is life. I am 29 and had mine put in at 21 yrs. old too. Do you know that they say a women still develops until her mid 20's? You probably have some more growing to do! Anyhow, if you have any questions or need advise this is a great place to start. I am glad that you are considering removing them now before you do develop serious health problems like the rest of us did. Also, since you are still so young and you have only had them for 3 years you will have no problem with stretching! You should be able to bounce right back to where you were before. Good luck with everything and thanks for sharing! Oh and give your BF a big hug! Jenna > > Hi Ladies! My name is - I am 22 and have had my saline implants for almost 3 years now. I can honestly say having them done was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made thus far in my life. I have not had severe health problems, but I have had enough complications to want these terrible things out of my body. Recently I have met with numerous plastic surgeons, and have finally found the one that I want to take these out of my body. Now it is the factor of the financial burden. My long time boyfriend and I have started what we call the " Boobie Removal Fund " . He has been so supportive throught this whole mess, I just wish I would have listened to him in the first place - he didn't want me to have them done. Too late for that now - I consider all of this a HUGE learning experience. Anyways - just wanted to introduce myself. > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Personals > Let fate take it's course directly to your email. > See who's waiting for you Personals >
Guest guest
Jenna, Thanks for the kind words. I do feel very lucky to have such a supportive bf. He is one in a million. It is so funny because every ps that I saw said " well they look great " . I totally agree, my big boobs do look great - but they don't feel great. From the very beginning my left breast has always felt out of place - literally like it is going to fall out, and I kept complaining to my original ps - he said that I just need to continue to massage them. Within the last 6 months - it has come to the point where I have cried while I was driving because as I hit a bump, I feel like my boob is coming out. I have also had shooting pain in my left breast and constant discomfort caused by the sensation that it is falling out. The ps I selected to remove my implants said that my left implant has fallen out of it's muscle pocket and that is why it feels the way it does. It makes such sense - so I am not crazy! It pretty well is falling out. My original ps was so stunned that I wanted to have them removed, he suggested that I go to a silicone implant, and the problem was caused because I chose to big of an implant. Blew me away! He said that I wouldn't be happy if I had them removed - but like I told him - I am not happy with them in. My goal is to have them removed within 6 months. My bf and I are saving every little bit we can - I just can't wait for them to come out.
Guest guest
Hi , welcome to the site. If mine didn't make me physically sick, I still would have hated them, too. I only had mine 6 months before I had them out, but I hated how they felt when I slept, and I hated how they felt when I'd bend over to pick something up. It's amazing that so many plastic surgeons (especially the original surgeon who put them in) try to discourage us from having them removed, and they all seem to have the same line - that we'll be unhappy if we have them removed. If they take them out, then there goes the return business when one ruptures, or someone gets capsular contracture. I've had mine out for one month, and the surgery to have them in was much more painful than having them out.
