Hi ! Welcome and good luck on your challenge. Lots of people

(including myself) have made a few tries before finishing a 12-week

challenge. It took me 3 times before I finished one last fall, and I

can't tell you how unbelievably empowering just *finishing* the 12

weeks through to the end made me feel. I have had a few slips on the

program since then, but always get right back up on the horse. What

matters is the big picture, so stay focused and keep at it. You will

be so glad you did!!

Hi, LaRhonda! I'm and I'll be 29 in 3 more days! :( Anyway, I am

currently using the Get Ripped advanced and basic tapes. I also mix in a few

other tapes depending on my mood. I try to stick to an every other day

schedule. I up my routine during the Holidays though. Good luck, and

Welcome LaRhonda! I'm not doing any taebo right now because I am injured

(not from taebo). But, I would encourage you to just go for your goal. You

may not make it. Weight goals are very tricky for lots of reasons,

including that taebo sometimes causes people to gain muscle. Still those

incredibly toned people with the firm muscles often wear smaller clothes

sizes (it happened to me: I wear a size 8, but weigh 130). Fit as much

taebo into your schedule as feels comfortable.

tapes and I work out about 5-6 times a week for an

hour each session. I either do an advanced or two

basics.

I was doing Tae-Bo 3 to 5 times a week. I think I lost the first 50 by doing

the basic tapes 3 to 4 times a week. Do you have the get ripped series? Those

and working my way up to the advanced. But I really want to get a

good work out, maybe I wil do the basic twice, I hope I can survive

that!

and working my way up to the advanced. But I really want to get a

good work out, maybe I wil do the basic twice, I hope I can survive

that!

and working my way up to the advanced. But I really want to get a

good work out, maybe I wil do the basic twice, I hope I can survive

Hi ,

I really need to get into this. I didn't even know there were new

tapes out, that is how out of it I am. But I do have is orginal

basic and an advanced one I just need to stop all the talking and get

moving! I know what you mean about the holiday, this is such a

stressful time a year, which is why I need this more now then ever!

That is good to know. I think I will start with the basic 3x a week

and work my way up to 5x. I don't have the get ripped ones, but I

hear that they are really good. But I have so many tapes already I

hate to buy anymore. But I am just going to ust the basic one that I

have at least until Christmas. Congratulations on your great weight

loss. I hope to be at my goal soon!

LaRhonda, that's a reasonable plan. You can also add the floorwork from the

advanced tape and/or the 8-min. tape, if you have it, to a basic workout to

help build up to the advanced. Still, lots of people here have had great

results from just doing basic tapes.

The Live! Basic is an awesome workout. We've judged

it as an intermediate tape. So that might just give

you a good run for your money. Many people add the 8

min (actually it's about 15 minutes) to the basics as

well. I use to do this alot when I first started.

Welcome to the group, LaRhonda! Sounds like a great plan that you have!

Good luck, you will do just fine. The basic will be just fine until you

get sick of it and need something new. :) I did my studio basic tape for a

while before I got bored with it so you shouldn't have any problem. Let us

know how things go!

Way to go, girl!! That's wonderful. I have been doing taebo for over 2 years

and I still have to take a break with the floorwork most of the time. He has

us do some pretty intense stuff! It's definitely a tough workout and you

WILL feel it tomorrow! Congrats!

I am so excited today I am about to burst. I actually got up at

7:00am and did the advanced tape. I couldn't do the floor work

without a break in between, but I have felt great all day and I am

starting to feel my abs hurting a little (that is a GOOD thing). I

can't wait to do it again!
